Good range with some really good bargains but...the sales people! I was a champion sales person in my twenties before a career change so my opinion means more than nothing. While the sales team at Myers meet and greet excellently and have no problems in pointing customers in the right direction there has been no sale training given to any of them! Open and closed questions are the day one basics of sales, and with exception of the footwear department I have never received this in almost ten years of shopping! The management team at the top has to start working on these problems or Myers will continue to struggle at the share holders expense. It's not enough to have a good range, good sales bargains and Jennifer Hawkins as the face of your franchise, you need champions in the sales team also, you have a lot to work on in the customer service department Myers, step it up!

Customer service at the Mens' shoes section - for the Hush Puppies Brand was very poor. I asked an attendant for assistance with a pair of sandals and he referred me to his colleague who he said was more familiar with the brand. I waited twenty minutes without getting served. Not impressed at all. Not sure how their supervisors assess their skill levels but this poor show was most unexpected. I am sure these attendants can do better.....

I've been shopping at Myer of years. Probably 80%, I left happy with the service. Staffs are mostly helpful and professional. Myer has a good range of products. Also, you can collect points when shop here.

Just returned a pair of Kurt Geiger shoes again as both the first and second pair had faults that I didn't notice until my neighbor and then my daughter pointed them out. Although it was a huge inconvenience to me having to take them back twice, there was no sorry just the insinuation that I was at fault - that I'd scuffed them although they'd obviously never been worn, that I should take another pair even though I'd already done that and just want it to be over. Oh and by the way if you choose a designer piece at Myers they need the ok of the designer (their in-store staff) to give you a refund. In short just don't buy from Myers unless you have to. Walked down to David Jones and brought replacement shoes straight after.

Myer lacks customer service. The staff at country road will not interrupt their irrelevant vacuous personal chat to work. I've seen it several times. They lack motivation it seems. Its very much look after yourself these days and I can't help feeling that damages them. Myer is saved by stocking CK for me and their sales which slice a little off my favourite brands and brings me back.
