The staff were really wonderful and very helpful. Had a meal in the restaurant it was very enjoyable.   Drove me back to the station . On the whole everone was just great .

Twin and double rooms have always been ok. Furnishings are a little dated, however in good condition and suit the style of the hotel.

I did once stay in a family unit on a hot night and it wasn't the best experience. The air conditioner didn't work at all and none if the windows had fly screens to keep the mozzies out. As we had been told the hotel was fully booked we stuck it out in the hot box only to be told the next day that we should have requested a room change (a bit hard to do with a baby and toddler in a "fully booked" hotel). An apology was received from management, however no reimbursement or offer was made. (I would have been happy with just the offer of a partial refund or free meal, I wouldn't have taken it, after all these thing happen.)

Stay here regularly. The staff are amazing, super frequently and usually will have the lights turned on and the heating/cooling ready to go for your arrival. The rooms are always very clean and very nicely appointed. The room service is very good and very reasonably priced (even the mini bar is well priced). The location is near the CBD and the beach. I very much enjoy staying here.

Whenever I am in Warrnambool I choose to stay at the Best Western Olde Maritime purely based on my initial visit experience so many years ago. And since that time, each visit has been just as equally enjoyable. Most recently I stayed in a renovated Family Mezzanine room which  was fantastically set out and made the room feel more like an apartment than a hotel room. The amount of open space in the room was a pleasant surprise and the simple brown and white color scheme gave the room a clean modern feel. The Family Mezzanine room is set out with a queen sized bed with separate bedside tables, a wooden table with chairs to seat four, a large wall mounted TV, an air conditioner, a mini bar and a spacious bathroom. Upstairs on the loft, there are two single beds with bedside tables and another large TV. The room also has ample cupboard storage space which contains a small fridge, a coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, plus extra pillows and blankets. For the health conscious there is an onsite gym with treadmills and the usual type of gym apparatus. The hotel also contains its own bar and restaurant facility with reasonably priced meals. Entry to the hotel is via Banyan Place and there is free onsite parking.

Nice quiet neighbourhood. Good parking. 

After checkout, we had an extra charge for the soft drinks which we didn't have but was later fixed upon a complain call.
