Affordable, well-furnished, spacious but basic rooms. We discovered at nearly 11pm that housekeeping forgot to lay a flat sheet under the quilt when making up the room but the friendly staff on shift was very apologetic and super quick to rectify the situation. Zero complaints.
Comfort Inn Warrnambool is not only a cheap gem but motel that is perfect for a short stay in town.nThe rooms:nWe booked a 4 person room with 2 singles and a Queen but they gave us a room with 2 queens and 1 single which was a nice upgrade. The main bed had an electric blanket which was welcoming due to the winter weather in Warrnambool.nThe bathroom:nThe bathroom could have some upgrades but it is still a competitive product compared to other places. The sink was modern and clean and the face washer cloths are very welcoming. The toilet was a bit old but modern but I think they could give another toilet paper roll as there was only 1 for the 2 nights. The shower was warm with shampoo, body wash and conditioner which had a nice scent to it. There were also plenty of hooks to hook your clothes and towel etc in the bathroom which made it feel like home.nThe amenities:nThere were plenty of lamps next to the bed whih made it easy to navigate throughout the rooms. The tv had Netflix. Youtube and all the channels etc. The TV was modern, clean and responsive to watch all the shows. There was a tourist guide for first time visitors and had some nice attractions which was nice. The dinner menu looked promising but we didn't order it. It was from a highly rated restaurant near the motel with a cheap delivery service fee.nThe guest kitchen was nice with all the usual things but they were a bit old and the opening hours were a bit limited as they open from 8.30 onwards which means no early breakfast for you to cook.
From the moment we checked in, we were looked after, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful, from assisting on where the bus to the track was to recommending the best place to eat they were great. The best part of staying at comfort inn, was the location to everything we will be back again.
This was a great little find, we struggled to get somewhere in Warrnambool over the public holiday weekend and then found this little gem. Stayed in the king room, which was spacious and clean. It was basic but as we weren’t planning on spending lots of time in the room it was perfect for our needs.nAlso needed a late check in so called ahead and it was no problem at all with easy instructions on how to get our key.nWould recommend, especially if you’re tripping on a budget
Bed can be improved. Pillows are great but bed is too soft, a mattress topper would help as it’s like sleeping on the wires of the electric blanket. Also change your sheets. All polyester and non breathable so uncomfortable to sleep on. Polyester does not breath
