Story

Figtree Holiday Village is situated in a quiet but central position in Lava Street which is one block south of the highway. Its lush green lawns, trees, shrubs and bright flower beds are easily maintained throughout the year. A short 7-8 minute walk will place you in the main shopping centre within easy access to shops (naturally!), restaurants, hotels, the cinema, the Performing Arts Centre, the post office, a supermarket and service stations.

We had a fantastic time. Stayed for 2 nights in unit. Rooms were lovely and clean. Staff were very friendly helped us with pool towels, scavenger hunt, tennis courts. Pool was great kids loved it perfect temperature. Highly recommend great location too very central to everything.
Friendly and professional staffs, changed two types of rooms during our stay, both are neat and clean, even the cleaner we met in the morning are very kind, love the indoor pool, kids enjoyed the swims over there especially when the weather was not hot and you can’t swim outdoors. Just a bit pity that the sauna room was not in use and couldn’t try that.nThe thing was not very good is when we lived in unit 9, everytime we drove out, someone will take our parking space regardless there are clear number on the ground, and one night we need to park at the visitors parking space.nThe entrance of the holiday park doesn’t have a secure gate was another concern, basically any car/people can come in, if can be upgraded later on that will be great.nAfter all, it’s a nice experience to stay here.
After over 15 years of staying at this park every summer we can no longer justify coming back and paying the overpriced rates. Since Tasman’s has taken over, it’s has increased by double, making it the most expensive caravan park in the area. If the quality has improved we would be happy to accept such huge increases but unfortunately the long list of defects seems to be growing each year.nTasman’s will be losing a lot of summer regulars and sadly they don’t seem to care. Shame as it has the potential. Don’t recommend for the price, you can find better more reasonably priced in the area.
We stayed here for 2 nights and it was very nice compared to other places. Unfortunately when we were visiting the pool was under going renovations but we didnt need it and it looked really large. The rooms are functional with kitchen utensils and everything you need. The beds are comfy. the games room is very nice with ping pong and arcade.
Booked a cabin for 5 people for 4 nights. Very old cabin for $1400. Bunk beds and single beds were very unsteady and made sounds on every movement. The 3 people sleeping in the room with the bunk beds had to move their mattresses on the floor and sleep on the floor. We left after staying for 1 night.nWhen we first arrived, we opened we fridge and a month flew out of it and flew into my father’s mouth.nWould not recommend, will not be staying there again.
