Service was great! The chefs on the other hand have no idea what they’re doing! I ordered the tasting plate off the specials “quesadilla, buffalo wingsfrozen tenders , salt and pepper squidterribly cooked, duck spring rolls and cheese burger sliders that didn’t have cheese or sauce. Got my money back! I’d rather drink beers here than eat. All of the other meals for the FUNCTION room were INCORRECT
A very nice old building. Comfy beds with a window that opened to outside for fresh air.nHad a split system aircon but we didn’t use it.nShowers were nice and hot with good flow.nGreat valuenWould stay again!!
Nice pub, nice staff but the food is over priced for what it is. Paid 40 bucks for a shared platter which I thought could be for about 4 people. What came out was, 2x calamari, 2x prawn bites, 3x chicken winglets, 2x small burger sliders that had nothing but the bun and meat, and big heaping of salad in the middle of it for some reason. We couldn't help but laugh when it came out, good place for a beer, but a big nope for the food.
Second year in a row we’ve stayed here and can not fault the place. Lucas is an exceptional host. The bedrooms have everything you need, especially for the cost.nBathrooms are clean.nWe will be back next year for our annual record fair.
Came here for dinner for a Birthday Celebration. Josh made us very welcome, explained the menus and specials and ensured the older less able-bodied were seated with enough room. Tom and Poppy looked after our drinks and all three provided service with a smile.nFour different meals, all delicious and generous servings.nWe will tell our friends and we will be back.
