As a new fisherman, I walked into BCF Belconnen with the confidence of someone who has never held a fishing rod but has watched *Finding Nemo* twice. The staff must have sensed my bewilderment from a mile away, as they quickly swooped in with the enthusiasm of someone who actually knows what they’re talking about.nnThey patiently guided me through the basics, answering every silly question I had—like whether I needed lures  or if I could just fish from a bridge with my long stick. Turns out, there’s a bit more to it than that! They recommended me places where to fish near canberra.nnArmed with new knowledge and gear that I now understand kind of, I'm ready to conquer the waters—or at least not embarrass myself too much. Thanks, BCF Belconnen, for helping this fish-out-of-water feel like a pro

The range wasn't quite as big as I was expecting, however they did have everything we actually ended up needing at some pretty decent price points. The store is easily navigable, with wide aisles good for anyone with mobility aids or a pram for instance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking available too.

Had an issue with an online order and called the store. Mitch took my call and solved the issue. He got back to me quickly. Often in stores people try to pass you off when you have a problem, but Mitch fixed it! Thanks!
