Best Experience & Best Agents

After meeting with a number of real estate companies that operate within the Altona Meadows area, we were starting to lose faith that any of them could really see the value in our property.

We then started to notice a large amount of Barry Plant for sale boards around our area, so we invited Michael at Barry Plant to meet with us and give us a appraisal on our home. From the very first meeting with Michael he showed genuine interest in what our home had to offer to the buyer, and with a very professional and informative approach.

We felt he set realistic targets but what really impressed us was his wealth of knowledge, both in the real estate business plus the current market, this gave us the confidence that our home was priced right for the market.

The proof is in the pudding so they say.Barry Plant Altona Meadows achieved the sale of our home with first open house day, with better then expected results. As a vendor it was the perfect day.

Our property was under rental management with another local agent and due to there poor service we decided to change agents and appointment Barry Plant Real Estate to manage our rental property. The team at Barry Plant have been exceptional with regular communication, rental payments always paid on time and maintanace issues resolved stress free. The Director Michael also called us to thank us for appointing his agency to manage our property. We have since introduced multiple friends and family to Barry Plant and we will continue to do so. Excellent Service!

Worst experience ever. They work hard at the start, provide you with some updates and then few months down the track, no updates, no follow ups, you need to get your own quotes as they use one handyman for everything. 
The director decides when to charge extra fees, when not to charge extra fees, depending on the customer and if they think they can get more money out of you. 
Their staff turnover is high, which makes it extremely difficult to deal with them. New staff don't get any updates and are usually new starters who just started their career in real estate. 

Do yourself a favour, save your self money and go with a different agent. They might be a bit cheaper compared to the rest, but you get LESS then what you pay for.
