I had my eyes tested and got some new glasses & sunnies. Everyone was really nice and understanding with all my questions. My script was completed in my chosen glasses within a week, and when I went to get them, they easily made adjustments to my perfect fitting size. Great experience! Will be coming back next year! Thanks!
I was having trouble with my eyes rang my Doctor who said get to an Optometrist. Everyone I tried was closed finally a very kind lady recommended Bailey Nelson. The staff were fantastic fitted me in with an Optician between appointments. Excellent result. A big thank you to them all.
Extremely personable, helpful and friendly.  I collected a pair of glasses which arrived prior to the estimated time.  I also brought in a previous purchase...sunglasses, which I hadn't been wearing due to the fit. I was offered a solution to slightly alter the frames by heat. It worked and now I can wear them in comfort. I keep on returning not only for the quality of product, but also the service. Thank you.
Unprofessional Optometrist- I have been a customer of Bailey Nelson for years, enjoying both the great products plus the Eye Testing service and until recently I found them to be nothing but friendly and diligent with my eye health. However my recent experience with the Optometrist left me feeling upset and not valued. Her manner was appalling. She was rude, dismissive, and incredibly unprofessional. When I posed questions about my past and new script and what was the best lens for my needs, she was unhelpful and abrasive. If any of my staff treated customers like she did, I would show them the door... whether I will be able to see the door when my new and expensive glasses arrive is anyone's guess!
Staff were so helpful and friendly. Very impressed with the service the two times I've been to this store. Great selection on frames with a huge range of styles.
Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. I asked a lot of stupid questions and took a long time to figure out what I wanted, but everyone was so patient! Makes you wanna get an eye test every day.
UPDATED REVIEW: Credit to Bailey Nelson, in response to my experience they called me to understand and acknowledge my concern. By asking the right questions, they promptly helped with a direct referral to another specialist. Their approach as a business to resolving an issue and providing service was professional, and had a genuine interest in providing good service. I have revised my review, if I head back and this has been applied, then deservedly 5 star. INITIAL REVIEW: Seeing an Optometrist for the first time in a decade and not having a reference point, I chose Bailey Nelson based on its high level in reviews. So I feel inclined to comment. If you are looking for a retail Optometrist I'm sure they are adequate. However from a professional and advisory perspective BN Chapel St was very disappointing, they didn't provide any constructive advice or have basic knowledge that should be expected from a medical practitioner. Whilst no one was unprofessional, it felt like a cheap sales experience, with staff talking amongst themselves about winning targets against another branch, and didn't provide actual service as i waited. Not terrible, but absolutely not 5 star worthy in advice or service.
Awesome experience at this place. Staff were very friendly and helpful and guided me to a easier process of selecting my prescription glasses. Big thanks to all the staff for making me comfortable
The girls were ridiculously lovely!! So helpful. Great range of glasses!
I didn't get a satisfactory pair of glasses in the end. The first lot that were delivered were completely backwards and during the second eye examination the optometrist lost patience with me for not being certain which alternative lense was better. What I got in the end were glasses that don't work as well for me as the very old pair I was replacing. I will not be returning.
