I went to Vision Eye Institute Melbourne to see if I was a good candidate for LASIK. I had a free consultation with an optometrist, who was very thorough and explained a number of options to me. I then went back for a paid appointment with the surgeon, who was also very thorough and made sure they got my prescription and could give me the right advice. They explained all my options and advised against eye surgery at this stage. I was happy that they were honest and didn't try to pressure me into having surgery that wasn't of much value. Overall, I had a very positive experience at Vision Eye Institute Melbourne. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and I felt like I was in good hands. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone considering LASIK or other eye surgery.
5 stars !! I was recommended from a friend to speak to Dr Uday Bhatt regarding my cataracts. Dr Bhatt was outstanding and very professional concerning my eyes. I found the team at Vision Eye Institute Camberwell fantastic and Dr Bhatt was amazing!! My eyes are better than 20/20 now... Thanks again Andrew Costello
Had LASIK surgery with Dr Guy Olorenshaw in 2019 and can safely say it was absolutely life changing! From consultation, to the procedure to the post surgery follow up appointments was flawless! The team were so friendly and almost 5 years down the track my eyes are still 100% with no side effects what so ever! i 100% recommend this to anyone thinking about it - it's the best thing I have ever done for myself.
Had PRK eye laser surgery done 6 months ago by Dr Guy Olorenshaw, very satisfied with the results! The whole team have been very helpful, professional and caring from the start of initial consultation, throughout the surgery and all the follow-up reviews!
Highly recommend Vision Eye Institute to anyone considering laser eye surgery! I had lasik done yesterday and already am pain free, perfect vision and cleared to drive whilst obviously still being careful with my eyes!. Every single staff member Ive interacted with from Kyra, Dr Abi, Natasa as well as the surgery and front desk staff has been fantastic. I am so pleased with the results and my post-op treatment.
Very accommodative staff, even if you're struck in traffic or late for Apt. Good facility to look after their patients. The only negative part was that their charges were a bit high.
I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Vision Eye Institute! I’ve had few consultations with dr Abi before undertaking PRK surgery and she was always very honest about the process and what to expect from the surgery itself. The surgery is quick and easy, which is good as I was quite nervous on the day. Soon after surgery they give you a bag with instructions and all meds and eye drops you’ll need to use at home. The recovery was seamless and only 4 days post op I could already open my eyes and felt little to 0 pain. Approx 2 months later and my vision is great and I’m so glad I finally don’t need to worry about glasses anymore, it honestly feel liberating! They really look after you post surgery, I’ve been having follow up consultations with Kira and she is such a Gem , very knowledgeable and kind - a true role model for healthcare workers. Kira genuinely listens to you and provides patient-centered care! Thank you for everything!
Words can't describe how grateful I am for Vision Eye Institute! The whole process was flawless from day one. My clinical optometrist Natasa was super knowledgeable, thorough and very friendly. Not to mention the reception staff were so helpful too. My surgeon Dr Joseph Reich and his team of nurses were incredible on the day of surgery. I felt so comfortable and was surprised by how quick and seamless the procedure was. I am now day 1 post op with better than 20/20 vision and can't wait to get back to doing the things I love glasses-free!
Fantastic! Had lasik surgery here and couldn’t say a single bad thing. The staff provided all the information I could require and answered any questions I had. The surgery itself was 100% worth it and only takes about 5-10min. Recovery was quick and simple and the follow-up process was great, even amid covid restrictions. About 2 years later and I haven’t had any issues. If you’re thinking of getting laser, I would definitely recommend vision eye institute! You can also donate your old glasses here to be recycled once you don’t need them anymore
