May have bought my bike from the Hobart store but these guys really looked after me today. 2nd ride on the bike and first big ride in over 10 years over 1km, brand new bike my right peddle started feeling lumpy. Called these guys up and explained the situation. They were more than happy for me to drop the bike off knowing I may not get it back till the end of the week. After a short chat with one of the guys they let me know they were going to sort me same day, weren't going to charge me for the helicoil repair, time to do the job and even gave a discount on new pegs. Love these guys and definitely getting everything push bike from them.
We stopped in mid-cycle tour needing some repairs and the team was extremely helpful, fitting us in that day so we could stay on the road. They did a great job. Thanks so much.
Awesome bunch of people! I walked in with no idea of what brand or design mtb I was after. Met 2 awesome dudes over the 2 visits. Geoff sorted me out and built 2 identical bikes different brands same price for me to try in about 5hrs. No one tried to up sell or pressure me into buying something I didn’t need, expensive hobby but these guys stick to the customers budget and full support from looking, to purchase and beyond. Bike hasn’t disappointed nor skipped a beat!
Travelling, staff were so helpful even fitted the part for me and gave me hints on how to resolve other issues when I get home.
I visited My Ride to ask whether they stocked electric scooters. In being informed that they don't sell escooters a discussion formed between staff and I about transport needs whilst caravanning. Apologies to the staff member for not getting his name, though it can be said that the particular staff member offered only the relevant information/support for my potential needs around wheeled transport, all the while in such a pleasant manner that allowed for comfortable exploration of such needs. I thoroughly recommend a visit to My Ride and with the level of detail noted from this experience I have every confidence that it is a strong part of the culture of this service centre:
Outstanding service, knowledge, communication and pricing. I have ridden a lot of bikes in a lot of countries and been to a lot of bike shops. Their desire notably Geoff to go above and beyond in terms of turnaround, mechanic knowledge, and breadth of experience is awesome. I wish I could bring these guys around the world with me as my personal mechanics. This store is great, whether youre looking for road, gravel, MTB, hybrids, ebikes or a little first bike for a tyke.
Just want to thank Geoff from My Ride in Launceston for his amazing help with sorting me out with a replacement back axle. I rang from St Helens after loosing it on a shuttle and he was so helpful in lending me a replacement one while he got one from Melbourne. It meant a return trip to Launceston but it enabled me to get back to riding on a 6 day holiday. I can say I was incredibly impressed with how helpful he was and his client service was outstanding. Any company would be very happy to have an employee like Geoff. Thank you.
Have purchased a Scott mountain bike and a road bike from My Ride. I have enjoyed talking to staff who understand your needs as a beginner rider. Outstanding service won’t shop elsewhere.
Customer service amazing! I am extremely new to the world of cycling and was made to feel right at home. I left the store with far more knowledge than when i walked in. I will be back and recommend them to anyone wanting to get good advice and customer service in Launceston.
You can see the fabulous team dynamic at Avanti Plus. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Delicate repairs were carried out on my Di2 by Jamie which saved my cycling holiday. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. I would highly recommend this shop.
