Hands down my worst experience in NZ. Driver started shouting at me for not being ready when he was waiting at the wrong address. Not a word apology when he got there 15 minutes late. At the airport he tried to charge me another $2 on top of what was agreed with his office. When I said he should call his office to check and that I had arranged to have $50 in cash specifically for this journey he turned all aggressive and started shouting some more about having to do a $90 journey and having to pay this airport fee, etc. I quickly stopped caring and made my way into the building. Fare is higher than what one would pay with Uber ($49) but I wanted to pre-book to ensure I’d be on time. Was expecting a much better service though. Stick with Uber.

We had a bad experience with ats taxi. First of all the taxi driver was late, we booked a taxi to go to the airport but it arrived almost 20 min. late, we were about to lose the flight! The taxi driver was absolutely rude and unpolite with me, my wife and my son. Awful experience. It is not all, the driver was all the time reading messages on the phone while he was driving, we were really scared. If you can choose then choose another company.

Driver was adamant about charging me $3 for airport tax and $3 for after midnight surcharge ! Call centre number doesn’t work and the voicemail box is full so can’t leave a message either. Will never use these dodgy company again !

Our driver turned off the meter and insisted that we pay $11 more than we were initially led to believe. Stated that his eftpos machine wasn’t working and didn’t have the proper change for our $50 note. The whole experience was unprofessional and uncomfortable. I have used this service a few times traveling back and forth from the airport without issue, but I’ll no longer be risking it or would recommending it to anyone else.

Totally shady, cash only business with disgusting customer service. They promise “special prices” but then once the trip is complete, tell you that you need a special voucher. Total rip off, I’m sure they’ll have red faces when the IRD question their books.
