Located within a short walking distance to Braemar Private Hospital and Waikato Hospital, this motor lodge has been architecturally designed around a quiet nights stay.

Luxurious apartments with fully equiped kitchens, extra large tiled showers, 32" LCD TVs in all rooms including SKY Guest Select with 50+ channels, double glazed Hush Glass and Sleepyhead Bio x Cell beds to compliment your comfortable stay.

The Hamilton Gardens, Mystery Creek and the Hamilton Airport are only a few minutes away whilst the Hamilton Lake is a short walk from the Motor Lodge.
We now have conference facilities available.

Very good location, near From Waikato Hospital, bust stop go city centre, bike shop, cafes.nVery clean rooms, spacious, have everything you need. Nice bathroom, shower and kitchenette.nnAmazing service and renewal of all room supplies/cleaning daily.nnAmazing place. Will definitely recommend.

The Astra Motor Lodge is a modest establishment but I've given it five stars as it suited our needs in every way.  We were met with a bright, friendly reception.  It is the second time we have stayed here over the years due to its location a couple of minutes from the Waikato Hospital.  The unit was sparkling clean with a comfortable bed and two pillows each and bedside lamps bright enough to read by.  The bathroom was top rate offering a spa bath as well as shower and all the soaps and lotions one could need.  Proximity to the road was not a noise problem for us, but we did have a unit at the back.  Would definitely stay again and can recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly locale.

We needed accomodation near the hospital, this place was in the perfect location. We booked for two nights then checked out, upon this we drove to the hospital to park up for the day but there were no parking available, so we went back to the lodge and the happily let us park there for the day, as it happened we needed another night accommodation and Rachel gave us back the room we had checked out of, we were extremely grateful. The room was perfect, super comfortable bed, all clean and tidy. I would highly recommend and should we need accommodation for hospital visits again which I’m sure we will this will be our first call. Thank you so much you made a very stressful time a little easier

Very friendly greeting. Milk in a glass bottle  a good selection of quality bathroom products. Same with coffee, teas & hot chocolate, including plunger. Fully fitted kitchenette. Clean spacious room, Sky. Highly recommend
