Great venue as always for a music event. New restaurant revamp, stunning. Love the nature vibe decor.nOur main meals were delicious. The only recommendation is a few more options for dessert and slightly larger portions.nOverall an excellent experience.nThanks
I good atmosphere. A Great variety of sport on big screens that is not imposing. No sound so you can choose to watch what you like . Good seating arrangements inside in the restaurant or in the sports bar.nLovely atmosphere outside on the huge decking area in either a booth or table seating.nGames available.nService is really good. The tables are all clean and tidy and the staff at the bar are friendly and efficient.nFood is good- pub grub- don’t expect gourmet, however a really good Hawaiian Chicken Parmi and Pork cutlet.nWe have been here several times and the food is reliably goodnTwo girls were helpful and polite this evening. Daisy and Amelie. I hope the Arkaba continues to employ good well mannered staff like you bothnOh yes- and tables have power sockets to charge phone and turn on heater if you wish
Avoid this place like the plague. The experience starts with an hour tour of the local neighbourhood looking for a damn car park. Once you get inside it’s actually a nice pub. But that’s where it ends unfortunately. We ordered 5 meals for our table and 3 came out together. After enquiring about the remaining 2, they arrived 20 minutes later. Just as the first were finishing their meals. Onto the drinks service. There are staff everywhere milling around all talking to each other, but only one behind the main bar serving customers. When I asked a staff member if there was anyone available to serve, I was informed that they were getting smashed by customers in another bar. Not really my concern. Very disappointed with our dining experience today. Especially as this is apparently their flagship.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel, and I can confidently say it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that made all the difference after a series of frustrating travel delays.nnHelen at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She could sense how tired and stressed we were, and without us even mentioning that it was our 10-year wedding anniversary, she went above and beyond to make our stay special. She kindly upgraded us to a luxurious spa suite, which was such a thoughtful and welcome surprise. The suite was stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the comforts we could ask for. It was the perfect way to unwind after our long journey.nnThe room service was nothing short of incredible. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was clear that the chefs take pride in their work, as every dish was a delight. We were especially impressed with the attention to detail, from the perfectly cooked meals to the impeccable presentation.nnAll in all, this hotel turned a stressful situation into a memorable one. Thanks to Helen’s kindness, the beautiful accommodations, and the amazing food, our anniversary turned out to be a truly special occasion. We’ll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable stay.
Attended the Chunky Custard concert as part of Fringe 2025. As always great food and a fantastic concert venue. Look forward to at least one more night with Chunky at The Ark.
