They wiggled their out this because I removed the back cover. The only way to inspect the extent of the damage is to remove the back cover. They indicated they didn’t want to cover this damage. The customer service is helpful as they are just messengers. They said the back cover supports the frame. Lol, it is obvious it was damaged not because of the cover, but damaged upon arrival.
Experienced exceptional customer service today by Ravi. He was fantastic and assisted us in purchasing a new mattress and ensemble. He took the time in assisting us and ensured we could purchase the products at the right price! He was engaging and was great with interacting with our girls. Highly recommend!!
I spent over $15,000 of furniture for my new house from Amart, but it turned out to be a disaster when dealing with their After-sales! On the day the salesman was very convincing, saying their high end furniture which I was about to purchase all come with more than 10 years warranty. Surprisingly the live edge table which came with 10 year warranty cracked after only 1 year and 2 months. I made my claim recently to Amart’s customer care for the cracked table issue, but got rejected for warranty, as they said I didn’t report the table damage in a “reasonable time frame” and according to their warranty policy, this has voided my warranty! They even closed my claim straightaway upon replying! Customer care kept referring to the warranty policy clauses and terms which I had never been shown or provided before by anyone from their team when I purchased the furniture. On the day when I purchased the furniture, the salesman convinced me very well with full confidence that their high end product I purchased come with 10 years+ warranty, some even with 15 years! The salesman mentioned clearly that if there’s any quality issue with the furniture, the warranty will cover them all! That was why I bought all those expensive furniture with Amart on the same day, as I trusted the big brand name and believed in their product quality and after sales assurance, since they had their words for such long period of warranty. But it all turned out to be a scam with tricky and fishy after sales terms and conditions.
Never had a worse experience buying furniture than this store. 2 months, was how long it took for a dining table to be sent to this store for pick up, which throughout the period I was contacted multiple times for “another 2-3 weeks”… and on one of the phone calls I was told a delivery can be arranged because of the long delay in delivery. And the table arrived in store, only to eventually be told “sorry we cannot arrange that because this was not noted on file.” I call BS. But I was not going to pay an extra $99 for a delivery that should’ve been offered as promised, so I decided to collect the table myself. Collection time was a bit different during the Christmas and NYE long weekend, I expected that. So I confirmed the collection opening hours before I went to pick up the table. Had to borrow a car because the table was too big to fit in my own. Guess what? Collection door was shut when I arrived, BEFORE the closing time that I was told over email and on the phone. Now I have to wait for another week because the long weekend is ending, and because someone or more wasn’t competent enough to do their job right. Absolutely disappointing experience.
Bought a modular couch at a discounted price from here. I was advised it would be available in 4 weeks. They called me after about 2 weeks and advised my couch was ready for delivery. Very happy with the price, quality, service, and timeliness of delivery.
Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Very helpful and no waiting to purchase lounge sofa. However after the lounge not even being 8 months old it is now under a warranty claim due to instabilty in the back and tearing of the fabric. Awaiting to have someone come and inspect it for warranty claim. Otherwise it is or was a comfortable lounge
Do not buy any of their mattresses with the Sleepeezee brand name. I purchased the Orthokinetic Splendour support mattress with a 10 year warranty. Mattress sunk after 3 years, bed label says PRC China it is poor quality material. Amart would not honour warranty, had to take it up with manufacturer Sleepeezee who would not honour saying I did not follow their care plan which is unrealistic. Logged a complaint with ACCC who negotiated me a credit with Amart. Bought a better mattress from bed buyer guide website. Please check product review before buying a mattress here.
Delivery drive dropped my couch of the trolley and tore a hole. Tried to hide the damage which is extremely noticeable. Paid extra to have them put it together so they would of seen when they were putting the legs on and putting into place. Contacted head office and was told I could have dismal discount and the couch would be repaired under warranty which we paid extra for but we wouldn't be able to claim any future damage in that area even though it was damaged by the delivery driver. Very disappointed with the professionalism and honesty of the 2 delivery drivers
Was told delivery of my sofa would be Tuesday. Tuesday morning get the text to say sofa has been dispatched. Get another text to say it is enroute with url to say delivery will be from 4pm to 7pm. Sofa does not arrive Tuesday. Tuesday night both driver and amart worker say it's coming Wed. Typical amart blunder. Was told first thing Wed. Just spoke with driver and now link says 11:30am. It's now 9am I start work in about 40 min so it better be here asap. Another reason amart was a last resort to shop at. Ps they charged me $99 delivery on a weekday. Isn't it $88 on a weekday?
Good quality and good price if there is discount. No free delivery!!
