I brought my car in for a Warrant of Fitness last June. It didn't pass and I was told they would contact me with an estimate of repairs.nIf that would be done within 28 days, I wouldn't have pay another $100 to get a new warrant of fitness.nnI never heard back from Alpine Auto Garage. Even after I called the garage two times. I had a conversation with the receptionist saying they would get back to me with a quote. They never did.nnIt's well over 28 days now so I lost $100 because I have to redo the warrant.nnEdit: I never was given a time or date for an appointment. I was only given a bill after I picked my car up after the WOF assessment. Not even when I called them twice.

Had an issue with our breaks because something got stuck on the wheel but the guy who’s working here we’re not really sure if his the owner fixed it quickly. Superb customer service and very straight forward. Highly recommended!!

Terrible service and scammers. I brought my car in because my parking brake was broken and I wanted an estimate. They charged me over $200 JUST TO LOOK!!!! It probably didn't take more than 20 minutes. After that, I went to another mechanic to ask how much they charged for an inspection, and they said they didn't charge for an inspection unless they fixed anything.nnI also asked if I could bring the replacement part and have them install it, and their response was no, that I would have to pay for the full service or nothing. Buying the replacement part costs $90, and with it, $185 plus shipping $15 and two hours of work. The receptionist said it was approximately $300 total!nnSCAMMERSnI DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM. NEVER GO TO THIS MECHANIC.

Please don't go here. This place preys on women, and tourists. I got very ripped off for a simple oil change. Initially I called in for an oil change. Was greeted with friendly service on the phone. I was told I could drop my car off Friday morning. I dropped my car off at 9 am and very clearly said I just wanted an oil change done. I called in around 4pm to see if I my car was ready. I got the all good, again service was still friendly. I went to pick up my van around 5pm and the bill is what shocked me. I was charged $425 for an oil change. I said it seemed high, and she said that was standard pricing. I felt like something was off, but did not have the knowledge to dispute at the time. After reaching out to friends I was told I had definetly gotten ripped off. I called the mechanic to see if I could discuss the bill. I was greeted with condescending and openly misogynistic behavior. I was also spoken down to and patronized. When I questioned them about the oil service, they made me explain out the charges, and asked me what I thought should have paid. They charged me for unauthorized services, without discussing with me first.  I feel like I was definetly taken advantage as a women and very disrespected.

Sadly, Alpine Auto was unable to diagnose my hybrid car properly after checking it for 4x since last year until Feb or March of this year, then finally took my car to Honda today and found out the real issue of my car which was the oil piling up in to the engine which Alpine Auto surprisingly missed to see which lead to the total destruction of my car and couldn't use it anymore unless I get a new engine which is the same cost of buying another car. The owner of Alpine Auto was accomodating but  unfortunately they don't have the right tool to diagnose a certain car. So, I suggest if you have a hybrid car just go straight to your car dealer mechanic Honda, Toyota, etc. I've wasted heaps of money with Alpine Auto service the car, wof, change the sparkplugs, oil, coil I trusted them but ended up with a totally broken unusable car :
