No surprises here if you've shopped at an Aldi before. A good selection of food at very reasonable prices. This branch has always been clean, had well stocked shelves and very courteous staff. Parking is a cinch and there are plenty of spaces. If there is such a thing as an enjoyable shopping experience, it would be here.
Our long term review as locals. We now have only 2 staff members that say please and or Thank you !nThe self serve checkouts are the only ones that say it all of the time !nIt's really poor customer service !nAnd it's trending !nWe are seniors and worked in retail. Good customer service starts at the top and how they're trained.nWe find ourselves shopping where there's better customer service.
Just popped in. The store was fithy, floor dirty with spilt food, self serve counters covered with sticky food residue. Despite staff being run off there feet they were still able to be polite & courteous, clearly this is a staffing issue with insufficient staff rostered on to keep the store clean.
Aldi seems to be having a supply issue. I ended up having to go to woolies to purchase the frozen veg and long life milk I needed
While entering the store I saw an older lady wiping down a wet trolley with a plastic bag used for veggies. I asked an employee if they could put some paper towel at the entrance as all the trolleys were wet outside. He said he would look into it. Of course nothing happened. Customer service is more than pointing out products for customers. Then one of the assistants decided to allow a customer to go in front of us without asking us if it was okay. Which it would have been. Common courtesy I would assume.
