DO NOT BUY, Quilters Choice sewing machinennSave up for a sewing machine that will be supported by after sales, whether you buy this machine in a sale or full price, it will be a complete waste of money and will cause you only heartache.nnMy foot control has been misplaced during a move. I contacted customer support via phone and was advised if they could send a new foot control, I also informed them that I would be happy to pay for the replacement part and shipping. I was advised to contact my local store, which I did, explaining to them what happened and what I was advised by their customer service.nnThe local store thought it was funny that I had asked them for a spare foot controller because they don’t do spare parts and advised me to go to an independent sewing machine store, which I did, I was met with anger, although it was not directed me but at Spotlight. “ How can this bloody company sell electrical goods such as these machines and not support the after care! All the other manufacturers sell spare parts but these people get away with ripping people off” After her rant, we tried a universal foot control and it didn’t work She advised me to go back to spotlight and also report spotlight to the ACCC for non compliance. I’ve contacted Spotlight asking for an another foot control, stating the willingness to pay for shipping and the item.nSpotlight have informed me that they CANNOT supply a replacement and that I can take it to my local store for a refund but they have to examine it before accepting. It. I will be taking a video of the machine while it’s the store, so I have evidence of it actually powering up. It’s a shame it’s not supported because it is a good machine for beginnersnnPlease be aware the information on the web stating that Quilters Choice QC-300e is made by Janome they’re are not nor Babylock. The cost of this machine is $1500.00 to non VIP customers or $1200.00nnUPDATE from SpotlightnDue to my sewing machine being just over four years old. They can’t help as it’s out warranty. So, now I have a $1500.00 sewing machine just sitting under my table doing nothing. Time to start save up for a new quilting machine that has an after sales support and spare parts
I have always loved Spotlight. I moved interstate and went back for the first time in a very long time. It was disappointing! There wasn't as much stock as there once was. I walked out with only a couple of items I wanted.
Fantastic Spotlight store. We really liked the service and this place is huge. Grabbed some bargains prior to the EOFY. Unfortunately for us it's unlikely we will ever want to return to Ballarat because of all the aggressive driving by bogans in utes on the Colac Ballarat Road north of Rokewood. It's disgusting behaviour. They seem to have a problem with women.
I wanted a set of flannelette sheets to fit a thick mattress and mattress topper. They had exactly what I was looking for and a bonus they were on sale.
