Excellent customer service. Had sold out of a catalogue item just before i arrived and offered to call other stores for me. 4 phone calls later they located the product I wanted and were happily smiling throughout. Thank you to the lady who assisted. You made my week!

They seem to be stocking more known brands than in the past. The only bad thing about my experience was that it's difficult to find the Aldi trolley return bays in the carpark.

I've only been to the Waverley Gardens store once. One time too many or exactly the right number, depending on your philosophy. I went into the store because I am blighted with an imperialist-industrialist coffee machine that eats coffee pods. I wanted some of their cheap-but-probably-poison-to-humans-and-surely-poison-to-the-planet coffee pods. You know, like what that Clooney fella from the TV doctor show seems to always be drinking on the TV some times. Like me, that Clooney fella is real classy. Classy people have treasure, and acquire much of it on a day-to-day basis. Anyone not acquiring enough new treasure to need an ergonomic carrying solution simply isn't living. And they certainly are not classy like me and that doctor fella. Being that me and Clooney carry our treasures with us daily, it stands to reason that we need to carry these treasures in treasure sacks, and carry our treasure sacks into whichever store from which we purchase our classy coffee pods. With my treasure sack on my person, I thought nothing of carrying it ergonomically on my shoulders as I held my breath and tried to return from the horrifying decor and ominous odour of that neo-industrial nightmare without touching any of the other people milling about the overhyped 'bargains', which are just another tap siphoning money out of Australia's struggling economy. English being a 'usage language' I do hope you note my compelling command of it, and my dual application of the pronoun 'which'. Your bargains. Your customers. Siphoning. You are the corporate embodiment of a petrol thief's conscience. As I approached the counter, I saw the minimum-award-wage teenager ERGONOMICALLY seated at his Bargain Throne. I felt we had a connection there. He, in his ergonomic chair and me, full of the class of a Clooney in a Nespresso commercial, with my ergonomic sack of treasure. I carried the most I could safely do in one trip, to avoid needing to return for more coffee pods even one cup sooner than absolutely necessary. I learned of this efficient planning strategy from a bank movie with that Clooney fella in it. Maybe it was a casino, or a bank in a casino, or a casino bank; the point is, it was a really clever movie and Clooney was really smart in it. I was happy this teenager valued my limited time and precious oxygen reserves as I eyed up my escape route; escape from bargains dumped in bins. A barren wasteland consisting primarily of the one display method normal retailers use to discard unwanted products quickly and easily to unsuspecting professional consumers - professional in their voracity, that is; a mere reflection of quantity over quality. I didn't hear what this teenager said, as I had left my earphones in my ears, with my iPod playing at the minimum volume needed to drown out the soundtrack to depression itself. I assumed he was wishing me well on my continuing quest with my treasure sack, until he flailed about like a dying spider caught in a mist of Mortein. That may be an exaggeration on my part, but this review is telling me my one star rating means I 'Hated it' so I am simply following your lead. He insisted he needed to 'check [my] bag'. As if this clown didn't know a treasure sack when he saw one, or to know it is a truth universally acknowledged that a classy man in possession of a good treasure sack must be in want of the sweet, clean, humanity-rich air so sorely lacking inside of an Aldi store. And that anyone with goddamn treasure does does not need to steal from Aldi, the sad homeless cousin of real supermarkets. Such indignity. Such ignorance. Such contempt of Victorian law and the citizens it exists to serve and protect. I now campaign vigorously against Aldi's foreign tyranny in the supermarket sector of Australia. If I've learned one thing from that handsome guy from the sequels to that casino bank story, besides the importance of being ineffably suave, it is that all it takes to bring down an empire is a good plan, a solid crew, and to steal all of the empire's fortune. Your casino banking days are numbered.
