Receptionist was so rude and was uninterested in her job. My appointment was at 7.15 pm and there was only 1 person in front of me. That person left and I still not got called by doctor. I asked receptionist at about 7.50 regarding my turn and she said she will put it in system now. When I asked why it was not done before, she just said I forgot. It was her fault and she was not even apologetic about it. I could not believe it. If there is any manager, please talk to your reception team and give them classes on how to be courteous and do there job properly.
Lovely professional doctors I’ve seen most of them by now and all of my consultations so far have been bulk billed. Only thing I would say is that it’s hard to get an appointment within a week online, so not great if you are sick and need an MC or need fairly urgent help. Appointment times are usually quite on time give or take 15 mins. They have a pathologist and nurse in house too which makes things very convenient.
Amazing service. Warm and friendly staff. My son had an emergency last night sliced his finger with a sharp knife. and even though the nurse was about to finish for the day and the centre was closing soon, they still managed to see him. I am so very thankful.
If you’re after a quick medical certificate for a sickie, perfect! If you can even get an appointment in time. However, it is clear that they want to get patients to have multiple visits in order to create more business whilst ignoring their requests. I asked for a simple ear check, but was ignored as I was already given an ultrasound referral I had asked for a gyno referral. If you want your medical issues to be taken seriously and heard. I would not recommend visiting this place.
Dr Sirisha Moparthi was really thorough in doing a 6 week check up for my baby & myself. She was very informative and took her time explaining everything as well as answering any questions that we had. She is a great doctor who communicates everything clearly and doesn’t rush the appointments, which is hard to come by with a GP nowadays. Definitely can recommend her service. The girls at reception are lovely but always take too long to check people in. Both my kids & myself have also had vaccines administered by the nurse at Active medical and they have all been really great. Very patient with kids & again, they take their time & don’t rush the appointment. Only negative is trying to get an appointment. I need to book weeks & sometimes months in advance for a doctor of my preference. Active Medical is not great for any last minute appointments that is within a week which is not great when you have kids who get sick quickly & need to be seen.
Booked an Telehealth appointment two weeks ago online after receiving multiple text messages from the clinic advising I needed to book an appointment for follow up results. One hour before my appointment I receive a call to say the Doctor doesn’t do Telehealth appointments on weekends. Told to call Monday and see if any appointments become available. Why allow people to book if the appointment isn’t even possible? I try and not have to go to an appointment at the clinic as wait times are always ridiculously excessive. The management of this place is all about making money and it’s obvious. Gave 2 stars as when I have seen a doctor in the past the treating doctor has always been good.
One of the worse place, no matter if its blood work or immunisation. These people dont respect time. Make babies wait for hour for a scheduled booking of immunisation. Will never come go there for immunisation again. Least recommended. There is no excuse of making patients and specially babies wait this long. If you have more patients hire more staff. You people are working with tax payer money not running a charity.
Dr. Isaac Lin is amazing! He has been our family doctor for a while now. Always takes the time and care with us. We are so glad to have a family doctor like him, he’s the absolute BEST!!
Been going to this clinic for so many years now and all the doctors are so caring and do want to help you. My Doctor is Dr Sirisha Moparthi and she has always acknowledged what I say and always tries her very best to help me. The reason why I give 4 stars is because it’s so hard to book an appointment with your gp even if you have been at this clinic for so many years. I feel like the owner should look into this. Besides that all staff are lovely and the clinic is always clean.
This is the west medical centre. always fully booked and never taking in walk-ins when something is urgent. Drs and nurses are not flexible and have no problem immediately referring to hospital even when it’s not an emergency just to get rid of you. It’s the same shot show when u do have an appointment, they’re always running late. I’m never coming back here again. Hours of my life that I’ll never get back.
