One of the worst experience ever in Access Canberra. An elderly lady named Shauna, passive aggressive women in the service counter, getting paid by our tax paid money and serving us with no empathy and respect.nnI went to establish my car registration as it was bought from Sydney. I bought it for reasonable price from my closed ones, even after providing her rego paper and all required RWC/ID checks from Hume. She gave me a total, when I questioned her and asked to breakdown the amount, Without informing me, she charged me to pay stamp duty on the market value. She even googled and asked ChatGPT what it’s worth. Considering her quick online research she urged me to pay stamp duty on market value as it was showing $22K to $48K on google for 2017 Golf. God knows what was on her mind. She disregarded my evidence of purchase. She even threaten me there would be tax department knocking my door if I pay stamp duty on purchase price when I requested her to charge on the actual purchase price. Absolutely ridiculous service.nnIf you want to misuse your power and rudely behave, I am sure the day is not far from someone dragging you joker out of the door. At-least be respectful and polite to the customer. We pay the service fee and the tax plus surcharge. Not taking the service for free.
Attended the Scollay St Homeworld Shopping Centre Access Centre today to register a new trailer. The service I received was excellent, I could not fault the service. A big thanks to Hiba :- a wonderful asset to the ACT Government she must be.
The concierge lady greeted me and helped me sort out printing a document by emailing it to them, was very helpful and all the staff were friendly and efficient. I was there to sort interstate transfer of car registration.
Bronwyn and Levan worked hard for me today. Respectful, knowledgeable and efficient they provided solutions to my issues with aplomb. I appreciated their friendly manner, observation of my privacy, non ageist conversation and general proficiency. Great workers both, making for a 5 star experience. Thanks.
I had the unfortunate experience of interacting with an incompetent staff member who failed to read an A4 piece of paper correctly, which resulted in them providing the wrong information to at least 2 people her supervisor and another department and creating unnecessary issues. I brought the error to their attention but this staff member refused to rectify the problem or even look into what I was saying. Lo and behold, after checking with the very same department she called and providing them with the right information, I was indeed correct and the whole ordeal was avoidable. Although I’m sure not all staff are cut from the same cloth, if you feel like adding undue stress to your life and dealing with poorly trained employees, please head on in and lodge some forms.
