Mission

สำนักที่ปรึกษาการเกษตรต่างประเทศทั้ง 7 แห่ง มีภารกิจรับผิดชอบในด้านต่างๆที่สำคัญ ตามกฎกระทรวงการแบ่งส่วนราชการของสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ พ.ศ. 2545 ลงวันที่ 9 ตุลาคม 2545 ดังนี้
All 7 Offices of Agricultural Affairs have mission as stated in The Ministry Act on Permanent secretary office operation dated on 9 October 2002 (B.C. 2545) as below;

• ศึกษา วิเคราะห์ และจัดทำแผนงานตามนโยบายด้านการเกษตรต่างประเทศของกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์
• Study, analyse and plan for international agricultural policy.

• ศึกษา วิเคราะห์ ติดตามนโยบาย มาตรการ และภาวะความเคลื่อนไหวทางการเกษตรในต่างประเทศ
• Study, analyse and follow up agricultural measures and circumstances in area that look after.

• เป็นผู้แทนกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ ในการเจรจาเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาอุปสรรคทางด้านมาตรการที่มิใช่ภาษีของสินค้าเกษตร รวมทั้งร่วมมือและให้ความช่วยเหลือด้านการเกษตรระหว่างประเทศ
• Be Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives representative in negotiation, to resolve problems of non-tariff barriers on agriculture, cooperation and assistance in agricultural area.

• เป็นผู้แทนประเทศไทยเพื่อเข้าร่วมประชุมเจรจาในองค์กรระหว่างประเทศ หรือระหว่างประเทศที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเกษตร ตามที่ได้รับมอบหมายจากกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์
• Be Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives representative in international organizations conference or bilateral meeting as assigned by the ministry.

• เสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างรัฐบาล องค์กรต่างประเทศหรือระหว่างประเทศ และเผยแพร่ข้อมูลด้านการเกษตรของไทย
• Strengthening relationships between government, countries and international organization. Disseminate information on agriculture in Thailand.

• ปฏิบัติงานร่วมกับ หรือสนับสนุนการปฏิบัติงานของหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องหรือได้รับมอบหมาย
• Work together with or support other relevance agencies or as assigned.
