Yi Cart Asian Supermarket

On our last visit, stepping into the seafood department we could not bare the welcoming stench. It was beyond smelly non fresh fish, we had to walk right out. You would not want to put anything of that reeking calibre into your body. No no no. I’ll stick to the fresh seafood at Royal Oak Pak n Save just 5 minutes away, thank you very much

This shop has been renamed not sure if it is just a re brand or if it is a new company, if you are used to the old shop it is similar but tidier more organized. The staff inside the shop have improved I saw one member of staff go and get a trolley to help an elderly couple, this would never have happened at the old store, however the ladies behind the till are still very unfriendly not sure if it is that I only speak English and can't really communicate with them, but the do the absolute minimum, not even a smile or hello. There is a couple of stores in the back selling hot food which are nice.

Bought fish roe, prawns and terakihi fillet today - not cheap - and off so had to be tossed. It started smelling in the car home 5 minutes after bought.nNo proper chilling still, no hygienic handling and sour service.nSecond time and now the last I will trust this shop to provide safe food let alone seafood.

Parking situation is nothing short of a nightmare. A massive waste of valuable time that could be better spent elsewhere and unnecessary stress added to everyone's shopping experience.nnCleanliness of the supermarket was subpar, falling far short of meeting basic standards for any establishments.nnSignificant overhaul in parking management and store cleanliness is imperative for them to provide a satisfactory shopping experience for its customers. Thoroughly dissatisfied, warranting a 1-star rating.

Just been there for grocery shopping.nNot impressed of their quality and over prices than any other Asian supermarkets in Auckland.nFor example, frozen pork & chive dumpling I paid $10.99 at Farro and this place charged $13.99. It's exactly same product. Although chaser was rude to reduce paper bags without asking.nNot happy with their service.
