I was shopping for some groceries on Tuesday night, and I didn’t know where a few items were, and I came across this wonderful worker called Casey. She was very kind and helped me to find these items. The way she helped me found that she is so generous and passionate about her job. Definitely one of the best workers of countdown yet.
Staff here needs a robust training, when I bought some scones, the lady literally pick the scones from the paper bag and put it on top of the weigher, I was shocked as why she touch my food with he bare hands, she said she was new, but it's a freaking common sense, it has nothing to do if you're new or not. Manager need to action this and hopefully it doesn't happen to others. Just gross
2 stars purely because for the last 8 weeks this supermarket has smelt like dead things. It’s been absolutely putrid. Right from the frozen section to the self checkouts. They definitely have a rodent problem and someone isn’t clearing the bodies…
Tucked away in the corner, a good supermarket to shop at if you want more of a quieter shop. They’re in the process of putting shelves back in place so it can be tricky finding things.
Best countdown in the area.nUpdate....nJuly 2024 I have updated my review because this store is undergoing renovations and is a complete shambles. I notice a lot of the food items are short dated. Staff advise the renovation is due to continue to end of this year. I'll stay away for now.
