Five stars for the delicious Great Southern Pie Butter Chicken. Thank you for not selling a dried up pie at that time of the evening. It was still soft and not dried up. After a couple more items I finally got to the car and it hadn't gotten cold. Just the right temperature in that heated cabinet where you get the rotisserie chickens. Thank you again. I wouldn't have enjoyed that pie if it weren't for your temp control on it. I'll be sure to let Gerry's Bakery know too.

One of the bigger stores, seem to have a larger range than other Countdowns. Helpful & efficient staff. Good lighting. Clean. Big carpark. Toilets available just ask, hard to find. Lotto outlet. No other nearby stores. Easy access as right next to SH1 off-ramp.

Tawa Woolworths is an impressive supermarket.My daughter and I were in the store yesterday and after being in crammed supermarkets in Paraparaumu and Porirua the difference was very noticeable. The Tawa store is roomy, well stocked, quiet and with the wider aisles an absolute pleasure to shop. There were plenty of specials on and the checkout girl was very pleasant and approachable. This will be our supermarket of choice from now on.

I was shopping for some groceries on Tuesday night, and I didn’t know where a few items were, and I came across this wonderful worker called Casey. She was very kind and helped me to find these items. The way she helped me found that she is so generous and passionate about her job. Definitely one of the best workers of countdown yet.

My go to for out of the city peaceful shopping experience makes needing to shop for the house a lot less stressful. Don't travel here for short shops myself as I love this country setting for the longer shops. Just missing the coffee bar on the way in however maybe one will go up here and then well ITS THE SHOP OF CHOICE THEN. BP in tawa has the young lad making a good coffee though takeaway just need the trolley to have a cup holder. Any how large open layout well stocked and friendly service.
