Pak N Save are the best stores in Wellington, in my opinion. The selection, prices, and quality of meats and produce are heads above the rest, and they have better croissants than Countdown and New World.

Have plans for grocery shopping for the month or week if you have a big family. Come here even your slim saving can fill up your car or at least the boot.
It's the biggest, the yellowest, and has nearly all the things you want. This is a supermarket for the masses.nnPlenty of parking, not just out in the wilds of a Kilbirnie windy day but underneath, snug and warm.nnAnd don't forget your bags, always have them in the car for when you pop into the supermarket.
Went to get fuel 5 days earlier. My card was charged even though no fuel went into my car/was not working. Made sure I got a receipt which says the amount my card had been charged and then transaction cancelled. Called the store and was told to wait a few days, if it’s not back in my account to then come into the shop to get my money back. Went into the shop to be told I had not been charged even though I had shown my bank account and had proof aswell as my receipt and was told to contact my bank. Bank can not help me. Worst experience, will not be back. Not even an apology and have been charged $60 for nothing.
