Woolworths New Plymouth Central

Little to no produce every time I go in. Whatever produce is there is bad quality or over priced for the size. Half the time the bakery area is empty, however when it is replenished it’s my favourite place to go to for breads etc. It’s just very hit or miss. I’d rather go the extra few minutes to a supermarket in town than come to Spotswood. Disappointing every time I go in.

Lady on wednesday night shift had to get a bar code for a product that didn't have one. We waited 10 mins while she called someone else to do it, in that time she could have done it. There is hardly a checkout open at either supermarkets. Very poor customer service. But she did have time to flirt with my brother.

As a 35-year-old who very clearly does not look under 25, I was refused the purchase of a beer because I didn’t have my licence on me. The issue wasn’t the policy itself, but the staff member’s inability to make any reasonable judgement or critically assess age. It felt like the server was so nervous and fearful of making a mistake that common sense went out the window. Responsible service is important, but this was taken to an unreasonable extreme

Worst Woolworths ever! Very bad customer service!! They only had the self serve counters open and I had a full cart of groceries with a baby waiting in the car and it was still 9:30 in the evening. They offered to open a till but I was half way through scanning my shit. My first review but have had a lot of bad experiences from this place e.g staff not very friendly at all!!

Did online shopping. Was easy as. But on pickup took 20mins for Customer service to retrieve my order.
