Taranaki Fresh

Great selection of Asian style produce. Dried, frozen and fresh. Great range of whole and ground spices. Kind of quaint and old-fashioned. Maybe not always as clean as it could be but not bad.

They have a lot of spices. Although, when I visited here, there are only limited fresh fruits and vegetables.. The place is clean and spacious and the staffs are approachable.

Great range of food, best place for spices & the like, a bit of bitter melon/gourd if you don't mind. The staff are friendly, helpful & above all knowledgeable.

This place is a must-shop for all keen cooks. The spices alone are enough to merit stopping by. I'm sure most people realise how massively the supermarkets are taking the p*ss, but when you see how much money you can save when you buy whole spices... it's a game changer. No more of those pathetic spice packets for $3 a pop. Anyone who is keen on keeping their money out of the pockets of our supermarket overlords should shop here. The lady running it is also lovely.
