This particular pak'n'save has a lot of cool items here you that you wouldn't normally find at a supermarket. Vietnamese Mangoes, Mexican Key Limes, and Fresh Bay Leaves

Great parking underground. The store is good but sometimes produce can be at its end of shelf life, I've had some stuff go off the next day so I don't necessarily buy what's going cheap. Be vigilant. But I have never had a problem taking something back. Last time I just couldn't find the receipt.nThis is our go-to shop when near New Plymouth. Countdown nearby is a lot more expensive, and parking is not as easy.

Yes the supermarket is good with prices etcnbut the one thing...a big thing that is!!!nand that's their lack of choice.nThey managed to un-stock a good brand of cat food so now I get it at New World....yay!!nAs for other items ..it's very disappointing.nI'm spending a lot of money at Woolworths now and getting the credit benefits.nSo yeah. Pak n save is missing out and they have the space but struggle with offering customers choice.

So for some reason Pak’n’Save has a new policy of not letting people pack their bags in case they scratch the checkout staff with their nails. Don’t laugh, it’s true. So instead, you have to stand there while they pile everything back into your trolly. You then have to go back to your car and then try to unload the trolly and repack your shopping into your bags in a dimly lit car park. What an absolute fiasco and an even bigger nightmare if you have a couple of young kids.nIf they are genuinely concerned about this, then maybe they should offer to pack their customers’ bags for them. If I needed another reason not to shop at this store, then they’ve just given me one.
