Like being told off? This is the store for you! Touch a bag without the final item having gone through the checkout? Be prepared to be told off like you're stealing. Go through the self-service checkout and the auditor thinks you have too many items? Be prepared to be told that you must repack everything in the trolly and move to another checkout right away, as you're holding people up! Placed your trolly immediately next to the self-service checkout? Told off because it should be further away. Placed your trolly further away? Be prepared to be told off it's too far away.

I’ve just been at the Pak n Save Christmas Club event and I am completely blown away! I have never seen a supermarket give so generously. So much free food, amazing savings and the most welcoming and happy staff all with huge smiles on their faces. Thank you Pak n Save New Plymouth

I usually shop here, but it has become less frequent because they no longer stock a few things I regularly purchased here. Also, sometimes it's a bit crowded with people & staff stocking shelves.

Great parking underground. The store is good but sometimes produce can be at its end of shelf life, I've had some stuff go off the next day so I don't necessarily buy what's going cheap. Be vigilant. But I have never had a problem taking something back. Last time I just couldn't find the receipt.nThis is our go-to shop when near New Plymouth. Countdown nearby is a lot more expensive, and parking is not as easy.
