I recently shopped at Woolworths Manukau and had a very frustrating experience with a supervisor.nI had already visited five different Woolworths stores because gluten free banana bread was showing as “in stock” online, but each store had been sold out. When I arrived at the Manukau store, I decided to ask for help rather than just assume it wasn’t available.nA staff member I approached was kind and polite. I explained that I had already checked both the bread aisle and the bakery section and couldn’t find any. I asked whether they might have any in the back freezers, as I’ve previously been able to purchase items frozen when fresh stock wasn’t available.nShe wasn’t sure and referred me to her supervisor. Unfortunately, the supervisor was dismissive and unhelpful. While I was calmly explaining that I had already tried multiple stores, she rolled her eyes and walked off mid-conversation. There was no argument — I was simply asking for assistance.nThe lack of basic courtesy and customer service was really disappointing. After making the effort to visit several stores, I expected at least a respectful interaction and some attempt to help.

I bought two days ago raw hazelnut and payed for this pack nearly 20 dollars .. it was extremely frustrating to open plastic bag after two days and see maggots inside of the package. The most disappointing and disgusting experience which I ever had

Customer Service - Came to this branch on Sunday 8 March 2026 - at checkout counter around 4pm - self checkout. Went to collect the Woolworths kids packs but the woman who worked there just took the receipt from my hand, handed me the packs without even looking at me as if she owns Woolworths and I am at her mercy. Once again, my reviews are mainly focusing on customer service. Will i come back to this Woolworths again?

Over the past few years, we have hosted our Annual Community Event at the end of each year. Seeking support from this particular supermarket has unfortunately been a challenging and quite time consuming process, involving numerous phone calls, store visits & email in an effort to make contact with the store manager Deepee.nnWhile we are grateful for the occasions when items were eventually provided for our giveaways, the ongoing need to chase responses and wait for promised follow ups has led us to reflect on whether the process was worthwhile. Sadly, we have decided not to pursue support from them again.nnWe are fortunate to have other local sponsors who have been responsive, supportive, and prompt in assisting with our requests.nnMoving forward, we will focus our efforts on partnerships that demonstrate clear communication and genuine commitment.
