Visited the Woolworths at Hunters Plaza Papatoetoe and had a great experience. The store is clean, well-organized, and the Christmas decorations add a really nice festive touch! I appreciated how clearly the holiday opening hours were displayed right at the entrance—it makes planning so much easier. Friendly staff and plenty of trolleys available.

Woolworths formerly known as Countdown is always clean and tidy with good specials. They have a huge selection of different products. Spacious enough and you can check out your own groceries. They also offer cashier assisted shopping. The staff are wonderful and very friendly and helpful. They definitely need to get new signage lol so everyone knows what to call them.

This was one of my worst shopping experiences I’ve had. I had an extremely upsetting experience at this Woolworth. My sister and I were getting groceries for the week and while my sister was putting our groceries on the checkout belt, I had tried moving our trolley slightly forward so I could get to the front to pack the groceries into the shopping bags. That’s when the checkout lady had stopped us and walked around to our trolley and started accusing us of stealing also adding in “there’s cameras” ?? I was confused at this comment she made as I was only trying to get to the front to pack our groceries. She kept repeating there’s cameras which made us feel humiliated. Customers queuing from behind were now looking, which added to the discomfort of the situation.nnNo customer should ever be made to feel targeted or unsafe while shopping. This experience has completely put me off from returning, and I will be warning others about how we were treated. This store seriously needs better staff training on respect, diversity, and customer service

Terrible experience tried to use a voucher here. Had to wait ages for someone to help, then the staff member explained but didn't actually assist - ended up having to go back to the teller . Didn't seem like she cared and was more focused on her own thing ..
