Good store with good variety. Liked their hot foods in deli area. Tried some fries.. but they were overcooked and I could tell they were leftovers from previous day re-cooked which made it feel like eating crispies. Overall a good supermarket.
Clean and tidy at the time of my visit. Seems well taken care of in Papatoetoe too. Experience is better if compared to Pak n Save as usually is. Of course it is a bit expensive than Pak n Save as everyone knows..

Very poor customer service they running promotion for the glasses but to get the stickers from them is like trying to get blood from stone. $20 for 1 sticker so even if your are 1 cent short they will not give you an extra sticker. They try make it really hard for customers to get the stickers, also they are not friendly when you go to get the glasses it’s like they doing you a favour. There is a young girl there with glasses and blue hair maybe supervisor so rude I was turned away and didn’t get my glass today because I was short 3 stickers I didn’t realise that the red spots on the card needed stickers too, nice Christmas spirit several times I have been here when my shopping was close to 20s but wasn’t given enough stickers also heard her talking to a check out operator making fun of a customer who has queried the price.
I would not recommend shopping at New World. Very Bad Customer Service. I usually shop here because the prices are cheap and close to home. But because of a bad experience with a guy that was doing the trolleys. LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I'm not shopping there ever again if their worker's are rude & disrespectful to their customers. The thing that guy did to me was being rude to me when I wanted to use a trolley to do my shopping before closing time. I end up doing my shopping at Pak n Save, Mangere and there Service was way better than New World. I'm shopping at Countdown and Pak n Save from now on. I was very angry when I left New World after that.
Usually do the purchase from this store. They used to serve the quality products. Recently bought a pack of strawberry for my kid and it fully damaged.
Handy little New World, we go there couple times a week to pick up bits and pieces. Always clean and easy to park.
Clean and Bright however fresh produce is not fresh and the tills don’t work properly.
Wouldn't recommend, old man with grocery's on a walker dropped his stuff on floor because a worker was being careless whilst moving boxes, worker saw but didn't apologize or help him. Do better
Quick stop as it is right next to my doctor's. Not bad, this supermarket caters for a different demographic, and prices differ from my usual haunt but everything you'd want in a supermarket plus a little more variety in the deli department, displays are more refined, eye-catching as it should be.
