A long day at the hospital visiting my sister from the Waikato, staying at motel the lady recommended this place. Loved the paua fritter, fry bread, raw fish, guard and chips. Another visit to Or passing whangarei will definitely call again.

I usually grab my meals from Whau Valley Takeaways through delivery apps, so I can’t really comment on what the place itself is like. But when it comes to the food, they’re absolutely killing it. The chicken fried noodle dish is definitely a standout, full of flavour and the kind of comfort you want on a busy day. Every order we’ve had has been consistently good, with decent portion sizes that actually fill you up without breaking the bank. If you’re after tasty takeaway that won’t disappoint, this spot is a solid bet every time.
Bought kutais from this place it was b4 opening hrs door was slightly ajar so I called out and a lady came to the door she could hardly speak or understand English so I told I want to buy some kutai oh dam she understood BUY$$$ So she brings out a punnet of kutai I said how and are they fresh she said yes fresh from this morning and $12 I thort wow u understand English all of a Sudden but anyhow I scored thm wrapped up when I got home and opened thm MAN THEY WERE PIRO & STINK!!! so I rang thm up during opening hrs and complained went and got my $$ back and told thm to eat thm in front of me and u rekn they would just the smell put thm off so whanau check your punnets out before u pay...
Open hrs state 11am till 9pm. It's now 11.15am still not open. Staff said another 10 minutes. I suggest you alter your operating hrs instead of making customers wait. Chips soggy on my last visit a couple of days ago. Fish bites oily & more batter then fish. Up your game since you upped your prices.
