Had a really great experience here. The food was delicious and full of flavour. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Service was quick without feeling rushed, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and customer experience. Would happily come back again.
Hadn't been here in a while so after sitting in the riverbank theatre's production of Dad's Army for 2.5 hrs, we decided to treat ourselves. Wow. Our host was Walker from Texas! We had a small dog with us and wanted to sit outside with her but also stay warm so right away he ushered us to the alfresco covered gazebo area and made us feel so welcome with heater and blankets provided. He explained specials and other men items clearly. Food came out promptly 15-20 mins after we ordered and was delicious. The Gnocchi ohh deeeelish! Couldn't resist the tiramisu cheesecake either that didn't get a photo. Thanks Walker, top notch server and team!
We had the seafood linguine, which i would not recommend. It is not nice. The linguine is abit overcooked and mushy. The steak recommended by the waiter was good. But it had some sides which were not exactly tasty. The service crew was definitely welcoming and a plus. But the food I wasnt impressed for the ratings it has gotten though. Cleanliness is also not fantastic because it is beside the waters. The view and atmosphere is great though.
Lovely location for a catchup, scrumptious food and tasty cocktails, right on the water. There is a wide range of different seating areas. Great menus should cater for most.
I visited this restaurant on March 25 with a friend, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing.nnWe ordered a “large” flat white, a bowl of fries, and a large spicy chai latte. The fries arrived first after about 12 minutes, but we were surprised to find them overly salted—so much so that we had to brush off some of the salt before eating.nnAround 10 minutes later, our drinks finally arrived. My friend received her large spicy chai latte as expected, but my flat white was served in what appeared to be a small or regular cup. When I politely asked the waiter about it, explaining that I had ordered a large, he told me they only serve one size for coffee. This confused me, as I’ve ordered a large coffee there before. I tried to clarify, but he didn’t respond and simply walked away, which felt dismissive and left me quite upset.nnTo add to the disappointment, the coffee itself was slightly cold and didn’t taste as good as expected.nnAfter leaving, I reached out via email to ask about their coffee sizes. The manager confirmed that they do serve large coffees, but unfortunately did not acknowledge or address the service issue we experienced. That lack of accountability was quite disheartening.nnOverall, it was not the level of service or quality I was hoping for, and sadly, it has made me reconsider returning.
