Delivery from Lone Star the fish was not the star of the show.nSpecifically, had discolouration. I’ve had fish with bits of this colour. However, this fish came in looking like a steak. It was mushy and had strong odour sour-like, ammoniated smell fishy but next level. Unfortunately, transitioned to the meal as a whole.nHighly recommend the Dixie chicken!
We had a pleasant experience at Lone Star Restaurant in Whangarei. The restaurant itself is nice and welcoming, though it was very busy and quite noisy, packed with families, groups, and a lively atmosphere.nnThe service crew was attentive and friendly, but they kept asking us if we wanted to order more, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable and pressured.nnWe arrived quite late and were one of the last to leave, so the place was winding down. We had already eaten a heavy meal earlier in the day, so we shared a large ribs platter, which was hearty and satisfying. Overall, the food was of good quality with generous portions, making it a satisfying dinner spot if you're looking for classic American-style fare in a lively setting.
We had dinner last night and It was amazing food they served and I am very happy for the food I chose prawn star I love it and I am thinking to celebrate my birthday there this coming April. I found for the very first time the place I can feel like Dubai.nnOMG jalapeño was excellent and yummy.nnKeep it up!
Excellent lunch - prawns and mussels with garlic bread - compliments to the chefs. Finished up with chocolate sundae and cheesecake. Nice vibe, easy listening music, excellent service from Nevaeh. We’ll be back. Jimmy & Cherie
my wife and I went to celebrate our 25weding anniversary with some friends.The pre booking was great when I asked for a bottle of alcohol free sparkly as my wife doesn't drink. It was not a problem.The booking arrival and service was great. Our guests were very happy with their meals were great , allocation to go there again
