I've been to this bank in person twice now and both times were equally as horrible as the other. The first time I had made an appointment and upon arrival, they seemed to have no idea of it. The person, Peter, who we dealt with seemed to have no idea what he was doing and was very unhelpful and almost quite rude at times. The second time there, the girl serving us told us that a money transfer was not possible and could not help us, and then when I explained that it should be possible, she then wanted to charge a $35 fee to do the transaction. I sincerely hope other branches are better than this.
Worst experience i have ever with any financial organisation. Went their pass all the details to open an account nobody followed up. Again booked an appointment over the phone and nobody was their to attend the appointments. After waiting for an hour security guard advise us they can’t assist us as they are too busy. Never ever going to visit them again seems like they only want to deal with business client.
Went into this branch twice yesterday and on both occasions their service was really good. On my second visit yesterday I was assisted by Ace and I must point out his professionalism was exemplary to say the least. I was having all manner of issues with the Westpac Online helpdesk quite rude, condescending and extremely poor knowledge of how to handle credit card fraud issues I was horrified to find that upon dealing with Ace that my credit card was still active whereas I had specifically told the online helpdesk that I would like it cancelled immediately which she indicated was already done as we spoke on 14th December 2021 only to find that a month later nothing had been done. A big thank you to Ace @ St Lukes branch for sorting it all out for me and a huge brick-bat to the Westpac online team.
Most unhelpful very unpleasant. Unable or unwilling to help me deposit into someone else's account. Directed me outside to the machine. I am Elderly with a neurological disorder. Begrudgingly assisted when I stood my ground on the second visit. Don't go there unless you have to Why do we tolerate such disrespect Mark
Extremely bad experience with this branch. had appointment with Peter, who is very rude, very bad attitude. I would say he doesn't even know how to talk as a 'person'. Never ever gets so disgusted service. And hello? With that kind of service I would never ever consider this bank. How staff behave represents the culture of the company. If I could, I would like to rate - 5stars.
Blocked my card without telling me, left me stranded over the long weekend, could not reinstate my card, had to go into branch, have been taking money from my account and then apologized and put it back numerous times, cant speak to a branch you have to go through the system, feeling very undervalued as a customer. Will be taking my banking elsewhere .
Honestly one of the worst westpacs I’ve ever been to. Wished they kept the Mount Eden one open and closed this. I usually do large transactions via the bank and things go fine. But today there was this one person at the help desk, who was pretty much the opposite of help. She would neither accept the bank statement nor tax certificate for proof of account. The attitude portrayed today makes me wonder if westpac is facing financial difficulties and preventing drawings from accounts.
Disaster! I opened an account at the end of Nov 2021 and sent missing documents by mail on the same day. I have not heard anything since then. I have written more than 5 emails, tried to get information by phone, left my number - nothing!!! This is worse than no service!
We had a pleasant experience opening our bank accounts here for our WHV. Jin was our representative and she was so nice and accommodating even stayed overtime to finish opening the accounts. The other staff were also nice and polite and we were able to get everything we needed done. Thumbs up!
By far the worst customer experience out of any westpac I’ve been to. I’m usually extremely happy with the support at westpac but every single time I’ve visited this branch, not one person seemed to have the first clue about what they’re doing. Countless mistakes, inconveniences and delays. Do not visit this branch
