Got the crumbed fish, with chips and salad and a couple of crumbed shrimps. The fish was “fish of the day” and quite tasty, though lacking in salt. The shrimp were perfectly cooked with a bit of a snap when you bite into them. However, they did not have much flavor but seemed fresh! The chips were fine and the salad was ok. Overall, everything was missing salt but you can get salt packets at the counter. They have some dips available. I’d say it’s a good price for what you get. There was some seating in front, but keep in mind it gets very busy around lunch time!
Best F&C in Wellington and right in the heart of the city. The fish is incredibly fresh, the chips are cooked to perfection and the price is reasonable. It gets pretty busy at lunchtime so either arrive before 12pm or phone your order in advance.
Beautiful fish n chips with creamy hake. Chips are not bad either, but not as amazing as the fish. Portion is just right! The side serving of salad takes the guilt away.
Awesome fish and chips.... absolutely delish flake apart fish and yummy chips. This together with a crabstick, tartare sauce and slices of lemon for under $12.00 Large range of fresh fish and other seafood available as well
Very good fish and chips with pleasant staff. If you like to know what you're eating, this is the place. The fish is fresh and unlike many others, they batter it just before cooking. Choose your fish, have it battered or crumbled then cooked to perfection.
Great fish burger and nice people
Best fish n' chips I've had in years, everything is cooked perfectly, nice crispy batter. The batter on the pineapple rings seems to be different, kinda spongy and not my thing but can see why others would like it. Would love if they did onion rings. Highly recommend this place, they are consistently great
This ozzy is so glad i decided to get us a feed here! An Such a beautiful selection of fresh seafood i was in heaven the lady that served us was awesome so friendly. We came through one our way back to the south island and would definitely visit again!! Thanks for an awesome feed!!! The coconut fish is a must try!!!!
What a ripoff. We ordered a crumbed tarakihi fillet, a pineapple fritter, 6 scallops and a paua fritter and scoop of chips. We got two small pieces of some rubbish battered fish, 8 scallops and half a scoop of chips and were charged $46. Bummer
Really impressed best fish ive tasted in years. Very generous portions If in town will certainly revisit.
