Thank you for the delicious variety of food, each course was full of so much flavour. Really appreciated that we chose a range of dishes, and the kitchen seemed to have chosen which of those dishes would be best to come out together, and in which order. Incredibly fast service too. Will definitely be back.
We had a work related lunch booked where a colleague is dairy intolerant, gluten intolerant and fussy. Also one of my colleagues was abrupt, direct and hangry. The staff remained professional and provided great service, while the food was superb. If you love spicy we’ll made food or simple delicious meals they catered for it all. My colleague with the food intolerance confidently added WBC to her venues to eat at. Also the espresso martini made with Rum was very good!
Delicious food, fantastic service, great cocktails and wine selection in a modern setting.
The food is great..taste sensation without doubt. I've been here a number of times before.. Our friend booked it and it would not be my first choice .. Not because of the food but the portion sizes and the pricing. I had a cocktail for instance and it was in a very small glass. We had a steak dish at $58 pathetic amount of meat lucky if it was 200g cut up in bits and spaced out to look like a lot .. The offering have gone from small to minute .. If you don't mind payment then who cares. I know the industry is struggling and sorry to make the comment but its just how I felt.
Great food specialising in fresh seafood and fusion cooking. Wine list interesting and nearly everything available by the glass hooray! Stays open late unlike most Wellington restaurants. Service friendly informed and excellent. Well done! Parking: Parking house behind.. But may be full especially at lunch time..
Every mouthfull by all 5 diners was highly regarded. Excellent food with knowledgeable service that was not intrusive on our evening. We'll be back.....Food: 5/5
Incredible food, fabulous service and great spot overall. We'd been once before and this time took family visiting from overseas. Everyone was amazed by the range of unique flavours and options, and the price is very reasonable for the food quality. The staff was knowledgeable, quick and very friendly. Highly recommend for a nice night out in Wellington.
I visited WBC for a celebratory lunch. The restaurant has a combination of tapas-style sharing dishes and also large dinner plates. We ordered some Pacific and bluff oysters as a starter. I also ordered the fish as a main. It was delicious! There was a little wait for the food but overall a good experience.
Great vibe, attentive staff with exotic accent, kitchen staff were friendly too but abit loud, we were sitting where we could see them so was a bit awkward. Menu is creative yet simple. Drink list is extensive. We had some scallops and raw fish curry, it was interesting. Vietnamese lemonade was somewhat usual but with a refreshing twist. Keen to go back to try other things on the menu.
The best food I've had in ages. Every dish we ordered was deliciousFood: 5/5
