Waves Motel

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay recently. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Location is a good walk from the shops but super close to the beach and on the whole quite peaceful. Kitchen set up was ideal for my purposes. Parking was also fine. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I'm ever back in the area

Impressive customer service by Vicki at reception, thank you so very much. Stunning, clean room with massive spa bath and views over to the beach. Room was bigger than expected and kitchen offered more than usual which was a pleasent surprise, you could cook a meal, but why would you when your in walking distance of all the fabulous local beachside restaurants. And plenty of free off street parking avaliable. Highly recommend

A really nice stay here and would definitely stay again.nnHandy having a laundry on site.nnThe rooms were really clean. We had a room with a walk in shower and shower seat. The seat was a little worn but I'm not dropping a star for a shower seat.nnThe beach is so close, and it's a lovely beach.nnParking can be a bit tight if you get back late.

We recently stayed for over 6 weeks during house renovations. The manager couldn’t have been more helpful in arranging for us to be accommodated in the largest apartment suite - our thanks.nThe kitchen facilities are okay - designed for holiday makers to make a quick breakfast, rather than to self cater. The cooking areas would benefit from an extractor fan.nThe laundry on site is coin operated and 1/2 the price of the closest launderette. A host of reasonably priced cafes, bars and restaurants are within 5 minutes walk. It is very quiet at night, which being on the main road through Orewa was quite unexpected.nThe super king sized bed was very comfortable and the linen changed every 3 days, fresh bath towels daily and beach towels supplied on request. The jacuzzi bath was very relaxing and everywhere was kept very clean by the housekeeping staff.nThe beach is 20metres away and plenty of free parking available both in and out of the unit.nWe would definitely recommend Waves to anyone as a nice motel to s5ay in.

Great spot very close to the beach. Clean rooms with comfortable beds and bedding. Just what you what if you want something close to the beach and town.
