Waitomo Mangere

Small self service petrol station. We tried to use our Australian card to pay but it got rejected each time, avoid if you have a foreign debit/credit card as it won't work and no cash option. We were trying to refill our rental car before returning it but had to head down the road to Mobil instead!

Does not seem to accept any foreign cards. They should have this sign posted somewhere as it is so close to so many renal car depots. I had to go to the fuel station down the road to fill up. Do not use if you are from out of the country trying to fill up a rental car.

I’ve tried this place a few times, my cards are always declined. Doesn’t matter what card I use.

Easy access from Auckland Airport.nSelf service non attendant with eftpos card.nCheapest diesel around.

Self service 24 by 7 gas station always on special prize. Best for trucks. No other facilities though. Close to Airport.
