Our first family Christmas Day lunch dining out and what a wonderful occasion it was! The staff so, so friendly & helpful & the food - delicious - definitely value for money, a fabulous day!! A grateful thank you to all the hardworking Staff members from the King & Francis Families ‍

Duty manger is a rude incompetent poor excuse of a worker in hospitality. Dont come to this place expecting a kind welcome, you'll gett racist remarks, terrible customer service and arrogance. The Duty manager also seems to struggle with communication and understanding how proper customer service is given. Definitely wouldn't spend money here again

Quite a good place. Probably the best place to go in Upper Hutt if you want a pint and want to watch the rugby. Alcohol is slightly cheaper here too and so is the food. They also have a courtesy coach that will pick you up and take you home for a suggested donation.nnThey have heaps of activities and often also put on shows here. I have watched the wrestling here and seen a few comedy shows. All quite good and the venue it usually displayed quite nicely. Could do with better chairs though.nnThey also have free pool tables, a reasonably prices restaurant with perhaps slightly better than average meals, an outside area, and pokies.nnThe members nights are great too and you can win a decent amount of cash.nnFor $40 a year for membership, this place is great value. Would recommend to anyone in Upper Hutt.

The food was not very good however the drinks went down a treat, the live entertainment was great and the staff were awesome. Clean toilets and great outdoor smoking area. Gaming room.

My wife and I held our wedding reception here.nnWe are so glad we did. Helen and Rachel went out of their ways to make it a truly incredible day.nnWe had a lot of people we wanted to invite to our wedding reception 160 and were on a limited budget. We ended up paying $35 per head! And the food quality was fantastic. It really was. So many comments from our guests on the quality of the food. There was no venue hire fee as well, only a deposit which is just part of the total per-head cost.nnWe planned the decorations and the team at Cossie club did all the rest, and they packed it up - again at no extra charge.nnIn an age where customer service is a lost art, we were overly impressed with their service, and the communication was great. So easy to talk to and we had a few ideas/requests which they were more than happy to help with.nnMy parent in laws frequent the place for dinner too and from what I’ve heard, they are also very happy with the food there we don’t visit there often as we live in Auckland.nnOverall a fantastic place with very helpful staff and quality food.
