The purpose of the Transport for Christchurch Facebook page is to assist with the real time delivery of transport related information available on the Transport for Christchurch website www.tfc.govt.nz. This website is a joint venture between Christchurch City Council, NZ Transport Agency and Environment Canterbury. It is aimed at promoting various travel information modes and provides up to date information on the latest changes to the transport network throughout the Greater Christchurch area. This includes information on incidents, roadworks and other impacts to the transport network related to the Christchurch rebuild following the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes.
