Torbay Medical Centre

My doctor here is amazing and always very thorough and helpful. Has been brilliant with the children and following up when he says he will. The reception staff have always been helpful and friendly as have the nursing staff. Very glad to be looked after by this lovely team of people.

Every time I come with my baby with a fewer - I have to enter at the back to the special “the respiratory cabinet” which has steps and no stroller accessible entrance. It’s really inconvenient and it’s been like that since pandemic started. I imagine that it would be a good thing to fix if cabinet exists for so long.nnDoctors and nurses have always been polite.

Very poor detail provided on my concern and I didn’t get the result that should have been provided. Waste of time and money going there. A lot better doctors out there .

I've been using this medical center for the past 30 years, but I've never had such a rude receptionist. I can't remember her name, but judging by her accent, she was of Chinese descent. I wasn't expecting amazingly friendly service, but even though I told her what I wanted, she didn't know what I wanted she clearly didn't know much about medical services and made me repeat the same thing several times. Also she got annoyed and upset at me and hung upnbefore the conversation was over. Receptionists should be friendly and should never be rude by hanging up the phone first. Very disappointed.

Have not seen more unpleasant, grumpy reception staff than this place!!nThey are quite rude and think they can talk however they feel.nAll members of my family feel the same way. Even the nurses cannot do a proper job when liaising with test results etc.nThe reception staff never get it right the first time be it emailing or over the phone.nAm only a patient at this clinic as it’s handy for me.nThe doctors are ok not the best I mean I find a couple of them quite not interested.
