The doctors and nurses at this practice are professional and kind.nnUnfortunately, my experience with the reception staff has been very different. Catherine is consistently rude and unwelcoming on the phone, and every interaction leaves me feeling like I'm bothering her by calling.nnIt's disappointing because the quality of care from the medical team is good, but these experiences make me reluctant to visit the practice.

I felt very disappointed after my recent visit to Medical Centre. The doctor checked me thoroughly, which I appreciated, but I was then charged an extra $20 for going just a few minutes over the appointment time. My total bill came to $93 for one visit, which I honestly do not feel was worth it.nnWhat upset me most was that nobody warned me there would be additional charges if the appointment ran longer. If the consultation time was nearly finished, I believe the doctor or reception staff should have informed me beforehand rather than adding extra costs afterward.nnThe experience felt frustrating and disappointing, especially as the longer appointment was due to the doctor’s examination, not because I was intentionally taking extra time. Better communication and transparency about fees would really help patients.

Been going to Tor bay medical for years and have had similar encounters to this.nCalled in to speak about a very sensitive and time dependent topic and was redirected to a male nurse who was just utterly rude and unprofessional. When telling him that our my health app wasn’t showing results and that they hadn’t been for the past week - but were promised the next day after appointment. he then proceeded to tell us to “chill out” in a rude and egotistical tone while we were just trying to explain that they weren’t showing - over a topic that was very sensitive. Super unprofessional from someone who is a trained professional.

Great Facility with educated Doctors. Only caveat is that backoffice is a bit chaotic. I was doing a firebrigade-funded health check and was notified 2 years later by debt collecting services that I should pay for it. Torbay Health tried to call, but more than 2 years late, so I suspected it to be scam.nNot sure if I am frustrated enough to switch though

I can't reccomend Cheryl enough for getting blood tests! If you are bad with needles/fainting, she will make the whole process quick and easy. She is very understanding and keeps the vibe positive. Thank you!!
