It's very crowded on weekends and it's almost hard to find parking around. There are fewer people on weekdays. The staff are warm and energetic. The restaurant has a large space and a good environment. Coffee and food are pretty good. The washroom is very clean and spacious. Really relaxing atmosphere and a nice bright place, with positive vibes. Food was delicious. Service was polite and prompt. Decent size park at the back to play with the kids if you have any or just have as your view which takes away from the the fact that the cafe is off the main road. Can't wait to go back again!
Booked a table for 7 people and it was an amazing day. Good food with up to standard customer service and playground for kids to enjoy after brunch. Will definitely revisit this place for sure! Highly recommended.
Beautiful place inside and out. Love the decor. Lovely to sit in the sun on the deck. Quick service and helpful staff. Good range of GF and vegan options Pork belly was delicious but would have been 100% if the crackling was crunchy
I was a lovely place, free nice . The staff are friendly and welcoming, keep coming to the tables to ask people if everything was good. Coffee was amazing, rich with flavors and tasty. Cheese cake and brownies were so yummy . Really this place is highly recommended to visit I will go back to this amazing place to try the sandwich and bao buns .
Lovely place, atmosphere and staff. Just a little dissaponted in the food. It looked amazing but lacked in flavour and dimension. It all tasted quite bland and very similar. The pork belly in the tacos were also very dry. Hopefully just a one off, with such great reviews. Will have to try it again another time.Food: 2/5
A fantastic place to enjoy a delicious meal. The interior is clean, modern, and bright, and has a beautiful outdoor seating area as well. There is a playground right outside which is perfect for families. The staff are very friendly and provide and wonderful dining experience! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, high chairs available, kids coloring pages, and a big playground right out front!
Nice little local cafe on Whenuapai's entrance. Good accesibility and great setup for families with young children. Food is nice in general but some of the pre-cooked bits like sausage and bacon from Parkhouse Breakfast were old and dry. The stuff on the counter looked great though, maybe next time.
In summary, it was disappointing. However, the staff in general were friendly and very accomadating. But friendliness does not compensate for the amount of mistakes they made. Tables lacked cutlery, napkins and a good clean. Also, the number of times they gave us something we DID NOT ORDER was astounding. Drinks, side dishes and mains were all given to us, but we did not order it at all. Very wasteful. Quite slow getting the orders out in general. Kumara fries, undercooked and very soft and limp. Pretty good lamb and mocha, which I had. Not to mention as well, the mess was a bit much. Birds flocked in to eat the remains of customers who left, and no one came to clean up the mess for a while.
