I needed something nutritious after a long drive so ordered the veg burger and a latte. For $22 the burger was overpriced, but had it been scrumptious I would have been happy to pay. Unfortunately, the veg pattie nearly broke my teeth, it was so hard, and I wondered if it had been left in the freezer too long. There wasn't much in it apart from a tiny dob of avo, a little mayo, minimal lettuce and a thin slice of tomato. It was accompanied by a smattering of fries spread across the plate and a tiny bit of tomato ketchup. The buns tasted fresh, but overall, it was one of the worst burgers I've had, the price making it even more outrageous. The coffee was just average and on the weaker side. I was hugely disappointed, as I've found other Jamaica Blue cafes pretty consistent in the past. I would recommend that they take a look at their menu and concentrate on doing the things they know they can do well and eliminating the rest. Food, 1 star. An extra star for the environment of the cafe itself, which was pleasant.
Nice big area, with lots of seating so it does not feel claustrophobic. However, staff are not really attentive, coffee is served pretty slowly even when empty. Additionally, would be nice if meals available were larger and instead of such a variety they did a few things well.
Good service and coffee, unquie blend. You get what you pay for. Not the cheapest but tast really good. Handy location. By the Southern end of mall entrance next to countdown, ample uncovered parking, including parents/disable spaces outside. Highly recommended a try. Special offer after 230pm.
I really love the ambiance and the decor of his place. Its very fresh and vibrant. Plenty of options in the menu. Huge variety. Great for brunch or just coffee. Even the staff is very friendly and service is quick. Highly recommend.
Ordered medium oat milk flat white.$7.10 Taste Overpriced. Not happy with the taste.Service: 3/5
I find this cafe a little expensive for what you get but then everything is going up! It's a fairly quiet cafe, which is great for a moment with a fairly good coffee! Wheelchair accessibility: Fairly easy to get to counter and some tables but some are impossible to get to but better that most!!
Went in with my in laws and they really like this place, the food was great and the service was awesome, will go back againFood: 5/5
Why are all the cafes in northwest hugely overpriced with mediocre service and food? My coffee here cost $8 and I left half of it there because it wasn't niceFood: 1/5
Carrot cake wasvery dry and crumbled doesn't taste good a week old cake may be. Regards Pamela
Coffee was well prepared. Breakfast was very well balanced. Best time to go is early morning on a weekday. Only complaint...its minor...need to change the music. It was an assult on my ears.
