Had a very good stay. They also allowed me to checked in earlier which I was very grateful of it as well as parked my car while I was on a Queenstown Million Dollar Cruise. The place was just a few meters away from pubs and shops in the city centre, which is very ideal if you like bar hopping and do some activities. Will definitely stay again.
Perfect location, near Steamer Wharf and airport shuttle bus just around the corner from Crowne Plaza. Super friendly and respectful staff. We had a 3 bedrooms apartment perfect for our family size. Highly recommended. We would stay there again.Rooms: 5/5
Dirty, dark and derelict, needs demolishing. Worst stay ever. Don’t believe any of the photos, simply not the reality. Had a hole in the floor, bath handrail was broken and it was a spiders paradise. Manager was very rude. Plus no after hours contact for noisy partiers which went on until 4am. Guess they didn’t want to sleep in the bed either. Definitely go somewhere else .
We booked and paid 7 months ago via an agent. We arrived on the day of check in and were told our booking was cancelled. They claimed they called expedia 10 days before but we were not notified by our agent so I don't think that happened. We called the Lofts directly 15 days before check in to confirm our booking. They were unapologetic and it was the most disgraceful experience I have had with any hotel. They gave me a car park to use whilst we stayed at alternative accomodation outside Queenstown as two other families we were holidaying with were staying at the Lofts. We used it for 2 days until a different staff member told us he had sold the car park to someone else. Do not under any circumstances book this place. They have no integrity and could sell your booking for a higher price and cancel yours. I would hate for any other family to be left stranded.
Quality and good value, safe and friendly. Close to downtown, the location can't be beat. Accommodations are slightly dated but it's comfortable and cozy. Would recommend.
Booked with booking. Com all good then on the evening before our stay we got a call saying our room wasn't avaliable with no explaination leaving us scrambling for accommodation. We have found some outside QT. Unbelievably they were still advertising rooms available on booking. Com at a higher price after reading other reviews this looks like a game they play and judging by the comments we dodged a bullet.
Great stay and price for the location can't be beat. We booked the night before and paid on arrival via booking . Com. Smart tvs for easy streaming, heatpump and good L couch for the rainy day or evening. Bags stored pre and post checkin/out securely so we could potter around town and make the most of the day. As others said, parking looks scarce so enquire first.
Great location, easy to walk downtown Queenstown and to get to all the pickup locations for activities. Parking was terrible and staff seemed uninterested in assisting and answering queries. Inside apartments was inconstant, some had washer/dryer but no dishwasher. Top of loft extremely hot in summer with only an air-conditioner downstairs.
The positives: - perfect location right in the middle of town. - Good size apartment I stayed by myself - comfortable bed The negatives: - Extremelly expensive for what it is over $900 for 3 nights for 1 person - Old and outdated, broken furniture, broken hinges on kitchen cabinet doors, wall paper peeling off, - Very dirty: massive stains on carpet, damaged furniture, thick grime on the bathroom and kitchen floors, found old bottle caps and other stuff under the bed, oven trays with burned stuff from previous guests, toaster yellow with grease and dirt, grease on oven handle - very uncomfortable pillows - Asked for a duvet and was told they didn't have any extras and to use the bed cover instead - When I went to reception the staff came out on their pijamas they obviously live there and had no idea about any turist information when I asked -Poorly equipped kitchen Altogether, a huge dissapointment for the expensive price tag and a shame that such a valuable property with a perfect location is so poorly looked after
Please please do not book here or any VR group hotel. See so many reviews of people turning up with confirmed bookings to just have refuse the booking on checkin day and say it’s their problem to find somewhere else. The same thing happened to us today. Confirmed and paid booking went to check inn sorry we are full we refuse your confirmed booking, and no not refunding you even though you can’t stay here. Your problem to go find somewhere else. Extremely rude and unprofessional manager. It’s not worth the risk. Here is the best part we are a travel company that makes hundreds of bookings all around the country. Well guess not with them anymore.
