Sofitel Queenstown Hotel and Spa

Stayed here on our honeymoon. Location was excellent. Staff were great, helpful and polite daily. Hotel was very clean. The gym and massage were disappointing. The heating took too long to warm up the room, we had to call and ask why the heating was weak and a man brought us a small electric heater. The bathroom floor heating was awesome, staying here with this feature too felt like we were in Europe. Housekeeping was good. Breakfast in the hotel was very French, overall I recommend this hotel for value, location and comfortability

We had a great 3 night stay at this hotel. Location, facilities and service were first class and the hotel is well maintained. Because of other commitments we were only able to try 1 restaurant and had 3 breakfasts at the Left Bank but it was outstanding. The staff throughout the hotel were, efficient, professional and very friendly and all wanted to do a good job. In particular a young French lady at the Left Bank was outstanding and we were treated more as friends than just customers. I just wish I could remember her name Having singled out 1 individual I can also comment that everyone we dealt with was good. Looking forward to staying again

Really nice stay. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. We really appreciated the special attention they left in the room regarding our honeymoon. Location is great, really close to town center. Rooms are comfortable, bathroom is great but equipments are not modern enough no smart TV, speaker without bluetooth. Would definitely recommend !

This was an above average experience for a Sofitel, so that means it was really really good! Definitely coming back! As far as smaller boutique hotels go, this one is amazing. Amazing stay, wonderful breakfast, blissful bed, stylish decor... It's pretty much spot on.

I booked a room with a balcony for my three year anniversary here in Queenstown. My girlfriend and I love eating breakfast and spending time outside while traveling. When I got to the hotel they placed me in a room without a balcony and I reached out to the front desk to get this resolved. When they saw my purchase they then told me that because of my request to be next to some family also traveling to the Sofitel in Queenstown I forfeited my balcony room. Regardless of the room reservation I secured and the money I spent. We were never made aware of this change or the reasoning. I am traveling from Ohio and was incredibly excited to stay here. My girlfriend and I are very sad and we have very little time here.

The Sofitel is currently being renovated Jun-24 and we stayed in a newly renovated room 610, despite the renovations, there is absolutely no noise or dust. We loved our stay and they accept the Accor plus dining here, so we had a magnificent dinner at le petit salon and breakfast twice at the left bank breakfast restaurant. The room is well appointed, huge and very clean. We really liked the amenities and the slipper were so good we took them away for our next hotel stay. The bed was quite soft but very comfortable and the pillows were pretty supportive. The location is superb, and if you use park mate you can park opposite in the wilson parking for $14 a night. Would definitely come back to the Sofitel Queenstown.

The hotel service was great and room very comfortable, but be aware that there is no car park and very few public car parking spaces in the centre of town. The hotel takes advantage of this by offering a $50 a day valet parking service. As we used the hotel stay to kick start our 5 day Milford Trail walk, this meant that the cost of our room was in effect more than doubled!

Had a beautiful stay while at the Sofitel in Queenstown. The bed was beyond comfortable and the rooms were well designed. The staff were amazing and extremely kind. I had a problem with my room and it was fixed immediately, very impressed with the customer service. Would love to come back!!Rooms: 5/5

I think this may have been the first time we have stayed at a Sofitel. The attention to detail was remarkable. I almost never leave reviews, but decided that I would, if the opportunity arose. We were so impressed that we will specifically look for Sofitel on future trips. The beds were wonderful, heated bathroom floors, attentive and friendly staff, beautiful decor, and so many little details that could go unnoticed. Cannot say enough good things.

We felt extremely welcome from the moment we arrived and completely during our stay nothing was too much trouble it was an absolute pleasure to stay there and a big shout out to Federico and Rasheena and Remi who bent over backwards for us. The room was fantastic and comfortable and the hotels location is second to none .
