LyLo Queenstown

We loved staying here, the location was absolutely amazing and the room was very nice, however was rarely cleaned our whole stay. I would recommend getting a private room and bathroom as we had friends who chose to share and didn’t enjoy there stay as much as we did.

Check in was easy. The staff were friendly. A year ago I stayed at the hotel when it was previously owned by Jucy. I commented that the bathrooms weren't great. The conditions once again were poor. There are just not enough bathrooms for the number of people staying there. Walking into the bathrooms there are up to 8 women crowded over one sink trying to brush their. There was no hot water in the showers at all. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom in the morning when I went to check out. Everything else was fine.

Lylo is the best hostel in Queenstown. I booked here for 1 night, and liked it so much, I booked 2 more nights!! The place is clean, modern, and has a great view of the gondola mountain. In downtown vibe and easily accessible to everything. I wanna shout out Joao. That guy in reception knows how to be nice, understanding, and welcoming of guests! And Chris for letting me use a phone charger. They are examples of good hospitality in the realm of hostels.

Excellent location to everything. Room was clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great pricing. Would definitely recommend on a budget. Stayed in a queen room with its own ensuite.

Ok. We are typically not hostel people. But this property is not bad. We had a room with private bathroom. It's very small, but we made it work. Clean and tidy and very quiet, inspite of a popular bar across the street. Self-service laundry on site with paid parking across the street. Close to everything Queenstown has to offer. Only downside is the restaurant and bar are closed. A good value for the money In an expensive lodging city.
