LyLo Queenstown

Location is really really ideal, the pods were much more comfortable than I thought they might be and the facilities were all very good. The kitchenette is also surprisingly decked out, but having only 1 for the whole building meant it was often quite busy.nLocation for catching the ski bus was extremely convenient though

This place is amazing! 100% would recommend to stay here and return again.nnMac at reception was pleasant and recommended some good experiences. They have a group social WhatsApp that you can socialize with other hostel goers and they also recommend things to do daily!nnThe pods are cool, clean and super comfortable. Hands down the best hostel experience I have ever had - and I’ve had afew!nn10/10 team. Location is also excellent bang in the middle of Queenstown.

Lylo is in an excellent location being central to basically everything in town. The staff were very friendly and helpful however the room seemed a bit smaller than the photos being roughly the size of a bed with a small walking area on the side and a bathroom, although there was storage space under the bed. We also did find that on some nights the oil smells of people cooking seemed to permeate the room, so it felt like we were in the middle of the kitchen.

Stayed here in March 2024 and found it perfectly acceptable for the price. Location was awesome and everything within walking distance. Loved the pod beds with the screen to block out the room. Felt like a little cocoon of comfort to me and had light and usb charging port. Actually slept way better than expected in a shared room - would suggest ear plugs and eye cover if you want to reduce noise and light - but I actually really enjoyed it. I even attended a boxing class upstairs on a rainy day and chilled out in the shared space while charging my phone a few times. I'd absolutely go again.

Lylo Queenstown is a great option for a couple of nights in Queenstown, just off the main street you have everything within walking distance without too much noise from the town.nnYes the rooms are cozy but the price is unbeatable, friendly staff and well equipped communal kitchen.
