Crowne Plaza Queenstown, an IHG Hotel

We had a generally pleasant stay at the hotel. The location was ideal—close to key attractions and convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the restaurant; the food was consistently very good, with a nice variety of options and great service.nnThat said, the hotel itself could use some attention. The decor and furnishings felt a bit dated, and there were areas that clearly needed a more thorough cleaning. A deep dusting and some maintenance updates would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

Great location within walking distance to most attractions in Queenstown. Warm, very clean rooms with comfortable beds, pillows and very white linen/towels! Plenty of car parking Valet and the views are stunning on the upper floors exotically from your balcony.nStaff are helpful, professional and caring. We had Jessie check us in and Aro on check out - both were superb. A big thanks to Stewart Manson GM for the lovely bottle of red wine in our room.

The hotel is a really cool design and has aged well outside of the rooms in a retro sort of way, but the rooms could use an update someday soon; the bathrooms are perfectly serviceable but a bit dated in form and function.nnWe had two stays and the bed during our first stay was not very good, but our second stay has a much better bed.nnOverall I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Clean, comfortable, convenient… you are in walking distance to great restaurants and close to center of town.nnThe local bus picks up and drops off right outside, making it super convenient to get around. And the buses to the ski resorts are two blocks awaynnThe breakfast had room for improvement but besides that, I would unquestionably stay here again!

The room offered an absolutely stunning view. It was also conveniently located, with restaurants, cafes, and various activities just a short walk away. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was quiet, and while a bit outdated, it was still acceptable. The breakfast selection provided a wide variety of food options.
