Crowne Plaza Queenstown, an IHG Hotel

Perfect location as it’s in the middle of the town and facing directly to Lake Whakatipu. The staffs are really helpful both during check in and check out. I’ve been able to leave my luggage before checking in and after checking out. The rooms are spacious and the beds are really comfortable. Daily housekeeping is also great. The view from the balcony is okay. Good option if you want a comfortable stay right in the middle of Queenstown.

We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday, and the team truly went above and beyond to make it extra special for our family.nWe were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a beautiful lake view room — waking up to the stunning views of Lake Wakatipu every morning was absolutely magical. To top it off, they prepared a thoughtful birthday card and a delicious brownie for our daughter, which was such a sweet and heartwarming gesture. It meant so much to us that they took the time to acknowledge such an important milestone in our family.nThe staff were incredibly accommodating, warm, and professional throughout our stay. Every interaction made us feel welcomed and valued. This hotel was a perfect location for the town centre, waterfront & amazing view of the Remarkables.nWe moved to a lower floor so as not to have a connecting door. The view was still amazing.nAlso great if you’re with people where you do need room connecting as most rooms have this ability.nThere is a balcony and seating to have a coffee looking at the stunning views.nThe rooms were clean & spacious.nThe staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Valet parking is offered which we found useful.nThe price for this hotel particularly given the location is very reasonable.nWould recommend.

Booked two nights and asked for a balcony thinking it would have views to the lake… It didn’t! Only views to the breakfast buffet and courtyard. Parking valet was super fast and staff very friendly. Jamaica was very nice and everyone at the breakfast service too. Breakfast itself a bit average but varied. Location is great but make sure you book a room with views.
