Excellent accommodation in Invercargill especially during colder weather. Great to come back to lovely spacious apartment after being out in wind and rain. Very well appointed. Only problem we had was getting the bedroom TV sorted. Gas fire was lovely. Highly recommended
We love this place so much we added in Invercargill to our 2nd covid enforced South Island trip just so we could stay there again!! We go in winter so we take full advantage of the lovely fireplace and order in food so we don't even leave in the evenings! Great location for visiting Transport World and with a car it is a short drive to the city centre. The beds are very comfortable with lovely bedding. Bathrooms are great, very clean with plenty of room. Love how the rooms are all themed, makes the decor that much more interesting than a bland hotel room. The room always smells beautiful due to the Scentsy warmers. Will be back as we have to go Stewart Island still!
The Lodges looks quite ordinary from the exterior but once you open the door to your room it is luxury all the way. From the atmospheric fire, to the fully fitted out kitchen with ample breakfast supplies, to the heated floor in the vast bathroom everything is designed for comfort. We only stayed here because it is literally riģht across the road from Transport World but very glad we did.
These are the most beautiful units and the lovely staff made this the most enjoyable stay on our trip. Highly recommend these apartments to anyone traveling to Invercargill.
I give 10/10 for this stay - for product and for service. We loved that breakfast was put in our room each day so we could eat it at any time that suited us. We loved the decor and being able to wash and dry our clothes in our apartment. The shower had great pressure and everything was clean and serviced well. It was quiet. It was truly a delight to stay there.
