So we've been coming to ascot for over 20 years and we have never had bad anything ever, especially when it came to room service food, apart from our last visit. We were charged $345 for a superior King room #110, breakfast included.nThe bathroom was far from Superior, I suggest you have a look as it's not worth $250+. Sadly for the first time ever, our roast of the day was inedible, the fish was greasy and my husband's pudding was cold.nBreakfast was also a little underwhelming.nI wasn't going to post, but I emailed the establishment and have heard nothing back, so here I am. The staff at the hotel and the sports bar, as always, amazing, location amazing, but room and food, very disappointed, especially at those prices.nSorry..
This is a huge motel complex, convenient for the racecourse but otherwise pretty far out of town. Our room had a connecting door to the next room which, although locked, was far from soundproof. Bring earplugs!nThe bar does a good selection of pub-style food in the evening, the fish and chips was a decent sized portion and good value.nThey play really terrible Muzak during breakfast; I can only assume it's to get people out of there quickly? Breakfast had a good selection of stuff, although we had to ask for poached eggs as they'd run out. The coffee was average.
Very helpful and friendly staff at reception and at breakfast. The room was great with very good facilities and a comfortable bed. The hotel is well equipped with a nice spa and very good restaurant which serves quality meals. The staff were also very helpful with gluten free options on the menu.

Very poor service. Slow taking orders for food and drinks.nVery disappointing when previously have been good.nStaff standing around talking to each other
