We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Langlands Hotel, our room was very nice. It was spacious, with a comfy bed, pillows, and bedding. The bathroom was spacious with ample room to put our personal items, a nice shower, and good lighting throughout. The toiletries provided were very nice and smelt so good. We particularly liked the comfy couch at the end of the bed; it was nice to have a comfy place to sit to watch TV rather than from the bed. We enjoyed two evenings in the 360 rooftop bar and breakfast at Melt, both great. All staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly. Will not hesitate to stay here again, a beautiful hotel.
First time diners at The Meld. Impressed by the service. Very friendly and attentive. They were all keen to ensure our dining experience was successful. Large menu choice and reasonably priced. Great to have somewhere like the Meld in Invercargill. Many thanks
We thoroughly enoyed our recent 2 night stay in your deluxe suite. The room was so well appointed with beautiful decor and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was so spacious with great lighting and the double shower and bath a real treat. We enjoyed a drink at the rooftop bar before a beautiful meal at Meld and also enjoyed several coffees at the cafe while staying. We found all the staff friendly, helpful and efficient ….a rare find these days. Thank you Langlands for such an enjoyable and relaxing stay…we will definitely be back!
Stayed for 2 nights in the Junior Suite on the corner of Dee and Don Streets $335 p/n carpark extra $15 p/n.nNot so good points: Receptionist when we checked in didn't have English as her first language, she couldn't understand what we were saying and vice versa.nQuite small rooms for the price, windows facing the airport not floor to ceiling, which would have made things at least feel bigger, they are long, narrow and a good 1.5 mtrs above the floor. Our room had a interconnecting door through to the room beside us and we could hear the people quite clearly talking and one had quite a bad cough that kept us awake at night. Haven't spent enough on the double glazing, which is terrible for a new build, heard the local lads doing laps on Dee Street until 2am in between the chap next door coughing and people up above us moving around. Bathroom has glass walls looking into the bedroom with a curtain you can close, but a bit weird as toilet is not in its own cubicle. Not a lot of sound privacy as once sliding door is closed there is quite a gap underneath and on the side. Shower cubicle is small and feels very confined with not a lot of room to move around. No overhead rain shower head, just a small removable shower head plus the glass door leaks water out into the bathroom.nGood points: the staff in the rooftop bar, excellent service and very friendly, remembered us and what we were drinking the second night when we returned. Staff in the cafe great plus the included breakfast all top notch
We always enjoy our time at Meld. From the greeting at the front of house to the professional and personable waiters and waitresses. The food is always consistently balanced in flavour and the variety of dishes is perfect. There is something for everyone. We can always rely on Meld to impress our visitors. Well done ilt.
