Extremely good amenities and quality fittings throughout the hotel and the rooms. Service was good but the room service person couldn't quite get the order right. It was difficult to order a drink to the room which it really shouldn't have been. Dinner served to the room was very nice but like breakfast was not hot the french pastries were divine. Ordered numerous items to see what would be best next time. Although next time I will probably visit one of the many restaurants on site. In room menu could be improved, by making other dishes available. Pretty basic for a top class hotel. Not everyone, particularly women 2 of us, older ladieswant to go and sit in a crowded restaurant.nOverall very very good.
Our third stay at the hotel never disappoints. We had a lovely dinner last night in the lobby restaurant the waitress was outstanding, so efficient, friendly and nothing was a bother she is a real asset to the hotel. The hotel is so clean still looks and feels brand new.
The rooms are very nice but I suspect the interior design architect had a brain explosion when designing the bathroom. There is a glass sliding door which means you illuminate the whole room if you use the bathroom during sleeping hours, and the slider has an air gap around the edges which means all bathroom noises propagate through the whole room. Why do architects do dumb stuff like this?nThat detail aside, the beds were great, excellent reading lights, plenty of power points, good security, rooms well insulated against external noise and temp control was spot on.nAnd finally, the granola available for breakfasts donwnstairs on the ground floor at Brewed must surely be the best in world- it has no equal, believe me.
The hotel is awesome. The rooms are pretty good and spacious. They have a valet for your car paid parking, but no hassle to find parking like in almost every other city in South Island and they have a concierge to help with your luggage as well a first for us in NZ!!nThey do provide drinking water and milk in the hotel rooms as well.nn10/10 recommend.nnThe one star I’ve left off is because I feel they absolutely should include a free breakfast spread with the room booking. It sucks and it would have been nice to have that service.
Wow this place is amazing can’t recommend it enough for beautiful accommodation perfect location and most of all the absolutely amazing staff.nEveryone from the manager to reception to the bar and restaurant staff and cleaners etc are so so friendly and helpful and just all make you feel like you are home.nI will certainly be back LANGLANDS .nThank you for having us.
