A class act in the deep South!nWe recently spent some time at The Langlands in Invercargill, and it is a massive addition to the city. From a quick bite to a more refined dinner, the quality of the food is top-notch. This is an upscale hotel in the centre of town close to restaurants and 7 minutes by taxi $25 from the airport. The service was excellent and when I forgot a few items they forwarded them to the airport for me pick up when I next passed through town a few days later. The room was quiet, clean and spacious. The shower was great.nnI would stay here again.
A well located hotel with dining options and a rooftop bar. We spent 1 night here in a junior suite and it was well appointed. Comfy bed and no noise from other rooms.nReception staff were friendly and helpful. Secure overnight parking is $15.nOur only gripe was that you can’t cast Netflix to the room TV. YouTube does work but for some reason it doesn’t work for Netflix ?nAlso the TV remote has a Netflix button but it says ‘Not Available’ when you press it.nThey also don’t accept AMEX which is strange for such an establishment.
Currently staying at this place atm as down here for Field Days in Waimumu, GORE and I have got to say first time here and Damn these guys really look after you in all areas. Parking your car, hospitality in restaurant area, cleaning of your room, customer interaction and etc. I had dinner 3x in the hotel restaurant and they never failed. All my meals were just so good that I left happy and I Love Food when it's made with Love Shout-out to thr Chef Should get a payrise The staff serving at hotel are just total LEGENDS and that's what customer service is all about. You want to make the upto.wr happy so that they return. I highly recommend this place to stay for anyone on this kind of budget, mine was paid for by work but hey, it comes with the job so I'm thankful always. Thanks again to everyone at The Langlands Hotel for making my first time here a really awesome experience. Definitely will be back. 10/10 DEFINITELY
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Langlands Hotel, our room was very nice. It was spacious, with a comfy bed, pillows, and bedding. The bathroom was spacious with ample room to put our personal items, a nice shower, and good lighting throughout. The toiletries provided were very nice and smelt so good. We particularly liked the comfy couch at the end of the bed; it was nice to have a comfy place to sit to watch TV rather than from the bed. We enjoyed two evenings in the 360 rooftop bar and breakfast at Melt, both great. All staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly. Will not hesitate to stay here again, a beautiful hotel.
